Derby have given us another 860 tickets, total allocation just over 2,300.
If you sell them, you will get 700 more, good following from Preston, looking forward to it, be a tough game, at least we are at home, because away at the mo, we are struggling.

Sold 1500 for Charlton on 30th, early kick off on Sky. Not bad but not amazing.
Still got time to sell more, u will take over 2000, so for a early kick off that's still good, numbers, in our local paper it said Derby has the third best away following at the mo, with 2095 average u boys where second and Leeds top, no surprise about u and Leeds, Brum 4th, and the red dogs are 5th.

Don't think PNE would take the third allocation in case we only sell a few and the club have to pick up the cost, think that's how it works in most cases, you buy the tickets up front from the home club.

Sold around 1,800, think we will sell the 2,300 but that'll be our lot.

It is a belting away day - come with us when Leeds play, I'll sort you a ticket and buy you a beer on the boat - just pretend it's Brizzle.

Do you not have any loyalty scheme in place whatsoever

Not as though they'd need it too often

No they wouldnt but they still have a few hundred who go all over who should obviously get priority and also should they be promoted things change big time and their average following of around 1k fans would all be guaranteed tickets at all prem games. Yours is a pretty good system to copy for a team starting up a new loyalty scheme, ours goes back 12 years which I also think is fair but unluckily for younger fans they have absolutely no chance of getting an away ticket this year to see us, any other year its obviously has never been an issue.

Funnily enough, was discussing this with JJH on another forum and apparently Bristol City are introducing a new system from next season.

What is Wednesday's new system?

We introduced a new one last season which is a rolling 2-year system which I think is a fair way to give people a chance to work their way up.

That's what wednesdays is too, it's not really a problem for most of us the majority of the time, even wednesday wont sell out in probably 8 or 9 fixtures but it's still a fair way and guarantees the regular attendees tickets for the higher profile games. And if a promotion happens the demand goes up massively and you dont just have any old tosser going because its premier league football.

Agreed. Every club should have some sort of system in my opinion. Unfortunately, ours still has some teething problems and not always executed properly. Thankfully, it’s not really required for the majority of games.

Ours is a one year system which is bullshit.

Yep, we're bringing in a loyalty scheme for away tickets next season. As mentioned, apart from the odd game, it's not like we need one, particularly when we're up North.

That’s madness.

So you could do every game this season and go straight back to the bottom of the pile next season?

This surely can only work properly if your most popular away games are near the end of the season?

Surely your attendance one season would have you at the top of the pile for the next one?

It starts from scratch at the start of each season.

If you buy a season ticket you get 230 points, you then get 10 points for each cup/ away ticket bought afterwards.

It's only usually needed for 2/3 games a season at most. Saying that if we keep up the good form this season then I can see Fulham, Luton, Huddersfield and Bristol City all probably going off the points system.

It’s a load of shite but thankfully it isn’t needed very often. If you didn’t buy a season ticket but went to the first 22 away games, you’d still have less points than a STH who has done no away games and would miss out on the final day. Ridiculous system.

Ticket secured for our last ever trip to Griffin Park on Saturday - will be a sorely missed ground. I still remember Jamie Cureton scoring our winner to secure promotion to the Championship in 2002 like it was yesterday, absolute carnage.

Just back from my first England away for many years out in Kosovo, managed to nab a ticket in the home end - what a fantastic trip through Skopje and Belgrade as well. Great people, cheap beer and no old bill needlessly battering people.

Similar to ours. 10 points also for home games.

Yeah, it’s a tough one and been debated between our fans too. Some people are still boycotting but travel away so feel they’re entitled to priority but then you have season ticket holders who rarely travel claiming it’s they that are loyal to “the club” by committing to a whole season of home games. Can see both sides of the argument, maybe they should be renamed travel points or something, get rid of any ambiguity.

Sold “just over 700” for Stoke as of yesterday morning. To put that into perspective, last season we took over 1000 fans on a Wednesday night, so a round of applause for Paul Cook as he continues to drive the match going fans away.

I’ll be there but only because it’s one of my closest aways. Not seen us win yet this season, 1-0 Stoke.

Bloody hell that's not good from Wigan.

In a similar manner, I'll be surprised if we've hit 4 figures for Blackburn tomorrow.

Edit: colour me surprised, sold "around 1200"

Is it not worth using a ballot system as there is never a fair way of doing this seemingly.
