Same as ones I've not been too apart from Southend which I've been too and Fleetwood I haven't, Been to Wimbledon and Oxford's previous grounds Plough Lane and Manor Ground.
Clubs dropping into Conference like Wrexham and Tranmere means its near impossible to become a member of all 92 grounds visited club.

Yes the only set of fans who would of done them nearly all are pompey as theyve been in all 4 divisions in such a short space of time however there probably is still the odd one theyve missed on the way. Brighton for example

Just been reading the above few posts and decided to have a little nosey at the non-league, only went as far as the conference then the conference north/south, I reckon I've counted 8 grounds I've visited watching the Blues in LEAGUE matches!!! :eyes: It's saddens me to see the likes of Stockport 2 leagues below league football, I had no idea they'd fallen so hard, it was a regular for me for years.

Just been watching that sky sports years 2008 as it happens and stockport won the league 2 play off final that year, what a dramatic fall

Belle Vue wasn't it?...we ended up there once after our game at Grimsby was called off and the local radio station was saying the nearest game 'on' that was possible to get to in time was that, non league at the time iirc.

Yep thats it. I went to watch doncaster v rushden i think not 100% sure though i was a young kid and tbh i dont know what the fuck my dad was playing at taking me to that match im sure he had a reason. Another random game i went too with him was hartlepool v someone i think it was rushden again im sure rushden were involved in 1 of those games. Anyway thats it for the random games.

Found out why we went to belle vue it was apparently because they were going out the league and looked like they were never coming back it was against notts county.

If you go back a few years before that Grimsby Stockport and Tranmere were all in the Championship before our demises. Ours started with ITV Digital going pop so money earmarked from that to pay players meant we had to release our top players as we could not pay them.
Not sure what caused the other 2 clubs sharp falls but once you get into this league it is a nightmare trying to get out with only 1 automatic promotion place.

I've been to Layer Road and Colchester's new ground and can safely say i'm never going back to that fucking place again.

Went to Maine Road as a kid but can't really remember it and Ninian Park was easily the most intimidating ground i've been to. Also went to Vetch Field in the cup.. Lee Trundle you fat, skillful c***.

Not sure how many grounds i've done in total tbh, nothing close to your figure, mid 50's I reckon.

I agree on the ninian park one i used to love the atmosphere and banter there though it was brilliant.

Ninian Park was my first ever away game - genuinely intimidating. The difference between that and their new soulless bowl is ridiculous- the heart and soul has been ripped out of that club.

Yeah Cardiff & Swansea are two perfect examples of how sterile the game has gone.

Vetchfield and Ninian Park were proper Footy grounds. Run down as fuck, edgy atmospheres and a good possibility of you getting your teeth kicked in if you didn't have your wits about you.

Not everyones cup of tea, but I loved that dark side of Football.

I have very little interest in British Football anymore, unless North End are involved in some way.

Agree with the above.

Turd Moor is one of the few grounds in the country that still has that old school edge.

Fucking hate the club and its fans but I love that ground.

The Wednesday
Ninian, Turf Moor, Elland Road, Maine Road etc

Proper grounds, not stadiums, arenas or parks, they had an edge but loads of fucking character

Yeah Turf Moore is still a naughty place, but this season it seemed to have mellowed to fuck. I saw no aggro at all.

As Trev points out, Maine Rd was also a bit of a mad gaff. My best mate through school and college was a season ticket holder there, so I used to tag along with him a fair bit. The sights around the ground were something else. Proper old school football feel, in the middle of one of the roughest areas in Britain.

St Andrews is another one that used to be a proper intimidating rum place. Again, it's a shame that they're another club who seem to have lost their edge.

Aye, walked from the turnstile to the train station at Turf Moor this season without even a hint of trouble, you usually have to be proper wary.

Was a bit bizarre really, they're usually utter c*** win, lose or draw.

Just been trying to plan Bolton away in March and looking at train prices to Manchester at like 9:30am and there is one to Man Victoria for £3! and then trains back to Horwich are £4.30. My only worry is not making it back to Bolton!

Both West Ham and Brentford's grounds going this year (may be next year for Brentfords) as well. Again - two proper football grounds. I love the away end at Brentford's ground, one of the very few terraces left.

The sooner safestanding gets implemented into grounds over here the better, may do a bit towards the atmosphere at grounds and the actual matchday experience.

Why are you going to manchester whats about 50 mins away to then have to go to horwich parkway which is another half hour away. Why dont you just buy a return from preston to horwich parkway which takes less than half hour for £9.50 and get off and have a drink in chorley or summat. Seems sensible to me

It's our 'Gentry Day' where everyone goes absolutely fucking mental and gets hammered.

Chorley or Horwich don't quite cut the mustard for a proper sesh.

Loads are doing it via Manchester.

Aye, Manchester is on the cards for me as well, was going to drink into Bolton town centre but what's the point when you can carry on to Manchester for a few quid more?

Cardiff fans have no restrictions for the game at ours. Fucks me off a bit that our following was hit massively cause of pathetic police restrictions, whilst they can come as and when they like.

Should add to the game at least, and if there's no trouble (doubt there will be) then our next game at there's shouldn't have any restrictions either.

Ours is likely going to be for the start of the 2018 season, maybe halfway through the season before, so still got a couple of years left. Will be sad to see the ground go but has to be done.

Apparently we'll be installing rail seats in at least one of our stands anyway as it's built, they'll just be permanently locked in seat mode, the idea being we can try to convince the powers that be to let us be a trial ground for them
