You said in mid-week, the traffic won't be as bad midday on a Saturday surely?

Will be if you exceed 2k.

You catch Trafford centre traffic, will be longer,

1,500 is decent to Bolton, that amount for any Lancashire club is par.

It is just as bad all the fucking time. From rotherham you would go over the woodhead pass and Mottram moor can take 45 mins to get up its a nightmare journey a lot of the time. If you go the motorway m1 then m62 instead its 2 hours at least anyway.

Hour and a half up the road, relegation 6 pointer - so it should be.

What a load of shit, nobody takes more than normal for a relegation rival match unless it was last match of the season where both team needs a result, normally clubs take less fans when the right at the bottom, i think losing at home 4-1 to Charlton last Saturday put a fair few off aswel.

We've sold in excess of 2k for Charlton, Walkley Owl may be able to contradict this but I'm pretty sure we don't usually travel that well to Charlton.

Nothing to do with been a relegation battle though, more like its London and you haven't played their for about 3 seasons, its not bad following though tbf.

Tend to travel pretty well there but that's cause it's London more than anything I think.

We had 3k there on a Tuesday night the last time we were good in this league in 2008. 900+ a few months on in the following season on a Tuesday night again. 700 last time we played there on final day of 2013 season but we'd already been relegated by that point.

How tiresome is it listening to Brizzle fans moan moan sodding moan about how far they have to travel to games. I wouldn't mind, but if you're ignorant enough to think Rotherham to Bolton is a half an hour journey, you're completely stupid (or about 5 years old; your pick).

I'm completely shocked we've taken more than 1,000 given last week's horrorshow. That's notwithstanding the fact that our away form (and performances) have been beyond belief this season, particularly since Redfearn took over.

Irrespective of what happens in sales now, it will be a very good turnout. Didn't Brizzle turn out about 500 to Cardiff?

Touché.

I don't live up north, it was a rough estimate. We had 900 at Cardiff, Monday night on Sky and a bubble trip. Completely different circumstances.

If there's less than 2k toytown given the circumstances then I'd hide way from this thread in future.

Give over! no club our size would take over 2k to a ground what is 70 odd miles away.

Who you on about now, Dexter? You're speaking in riddles. We'll have about 1,500 there now I would've thought. Plenty good for a club that only gets about 8,500-9,000 of its own fans at home. As a comparison, on Boxing Day (an historically well supported day home and away), Bolton brought 1,700 ish I think (?) to us, and that's with about 13-14,000 home supporters to draw from.

So not sure where you're getting this 2,000 from. Particularly when you can never muster 1,000 to Leeds.
