Can't really compare a Wednesday night game on TV to a Saturday 3pm kick off that isn't on TV. Was only £7 quid cheaper which isn't much considering it was originally £37.

They have a great away following everywhere in the country other than Leeds for some very odd reason. Been like that for the last 6 seasons, they just about managed to sell out last season on general sale so not really the demand there then either.

We used to travel well to Leeds too, right up to the Kirkland incident, seems some of our fans are still scared to go there. Can't say too much as I'm not going myself.

Prices won't help. Both Wednesday and Leeds charge far too much for away fans.

Went to my local team this weekend. 15 or so Casertana fans travelled from the Napoli area to Siracusa in Southeastern Sicily on a Sunday evening (a day where public transport shuts down in Italy). Decent effort I thought.

There's a street near the ground with a few pubs on, one called Old No.7 I think but you're not spoilt for choice with places to drink. Decent away day, although I usually go via an early start in Leeds.

Yeah, we'll be setting off at 7 so could stop off at Leeds given there's a couple of pubs right outside the station.

Category A is £42 for away fans
Category G is £20 for away fans.
Others categories for away fans are £39, £36, £33, £30 and £27.

Wednesday had their cat G offer against Bolton. £20 all areas for home and away fans.
Hence why the home and away numbers were higher than usual.

The home numbers were marginally higher... not a massive difference and under a few higher category games this season.

Although I do respect that you do a fantastic job collating the stats, it’s a thankless task and is genuinely appreciated.

For the record Wednesday get good loyal support, especially away, historical facts prove that consistently in like for like circumstances SW are 10% better supported.
Our numbers have been excellent this season but history shows it won’t last (hope I’m wrong)
Be interesting to see how long it takes us to slip down to the 20K hardcore once the Wilder effect has worn off. My brother is a Wednesday season ticket holder so believe it or not I do have some sympathy towards your current plight. Next season things should surely improve.
