we have sold 1600 for Preston up to Wednesday. Not sure the number now. I reckon we should shift another 700-1000. We did take 3200 to Doncaster when we went up, and this game is equally as important. Ticket office open till 4pm Saturday so plenty of time.

Is that not a Wales international?

Nope, you're wrong. That's always the cop out from Cardiff fans when it gets dug out. Black shorts are the giveaway as that's the kit they wore that season.

Are these Wales fans as well?

Both pictures from the Brighton game where they handed out free scarves to fans on the way in I believe. From what I was told that was the start of the blue v red hostilities. Also meant to have been a bitterly cold night, but that's a bit of a kop out for me.

Cheers for confirming Dai.

This is well worth a read for those who, for some reason, have the false impression that Cardiff fans vociferously rejected the red rebrand throughout. It was only after 2 and a half years and following prem relegation that Cardiff fans "protested" against Colchester in the FA cup with an attendance of 4000.

The lure of premiership football was enough for people to go along with it sadly. Still turns my stomach it happened.

Fair enough, not sure why they'd be that bothered anyway they didn't change to their rivals colours, if us or you changed to blue that's a different story.

So if your owners changed your home colours to green or yellow you wouldn’t be that bothered?

Not particularly no, as long as it wasn't blue and white I'd get over it.

You watch your team in a different coloured shirt at away games is there any difference.
Yes there is imo. Although I would prefer to play in blue & white (stripes) both home and away unless there was a colour clash.
I would prefer it if we had a 1st choice strip B&W (used for everything home game and most away games) and a second strip (preferably yellow) to be used only away when our colours clash.
I don't see the need to change our kit unless the kits clash, guess like most things these days its all about money and replica kits being sold.

Made some very good noise throughout as well. Louder than some much bigger followings, sorry we relegated you x
I think Bolton did that sadly - with those 2 goals.
I do love Deepdale - cracking stadium and a good atmosphere all round in the sun.

Fair point. Typical negative Clough has cost you, you had us on the ropes at 1-1 and then backed off as soon as Forest took the lead, should have got a winner.

Didn't think it was a bad following from Norwich to be fair, long way to go early kick off etc.

Clubs will always give low away allocations for playoff games. Makes sense, you want to give the opposition the least amount of support you can.
