Yep that’s it, no more Mickey Mouse cups for you to play in next season....

(Ok who’s gonna be the one to tell him)?

The mighty Liverpool (u23) and Manchester Utd (u23) are joining us next season. I can barely contain my excitement.
If ManU and Salford play each other (highly likely given how regionalised the early stages are Northern division - West (South East) or some shit).

I'd imagine the 50 or so in attendance would celebrate each goal with equal gusto... God help football!

Makes me feel sick thinking about it. Sky would be all over that game like a tramp on chips :msi:

Had issues posting that from my phone and missed the end off, but I had intended to ask, would there be any point segregating the ManU fans from the, er, ManU fans. Doesn't look like that bit was even needed though. I just said ManU v Salford and you all kinda filled in the rest.

A ManU Salford final would severely test the BBCs semi sort of boycott (of a competition they were never arsed with to begin with) of the Checkafraud

I'm disappointed, but not at all surprised, to see that Norwich will be sending our Under 23s into this competition next season. From the club's perspective, I fully understand why and do think it's a great opportunity for our young players to play actual competitive games in preparation for the step up to the first team, but I am still against it on principle: this should be a competition for League 1 and League 2 teams, and the presence of Premier League youth teams only devalues the competition.

That said, it will be nothing short of hilarious if our Under 23s beat Ipswich's first team in a competitive fixture.

You just know Man Utd B/U23 will play Salford, the competition is a massive steaming pile of arse gravy.

Majority of our clubs aren't bothered what the fans think though which is a shame but not exactly a shock.

It also happened when Sunderland played Newcastle U23s (they won 4-0)

It's almost a lose-lose situation for the club who have to put their first team up, but I guess that's a pretty good motivator for the players to not just win but win well.

The fuck is this shit? Those U23 sides still taking part in this even though Shaun the twat has fucked off?

This isn't fit to lace the FA Trophys boots - Would rather play proper clubs in that.

Stoke got an invite again and accepted it then found out today they’d been bumped off in favour of United and Liverpool...

Least our ground won’t get trashed again when we destroy their kids in front of their biggest away following of the season again.

It was all fixed for that to be the potential final, aswell as Sunderland drawing Newcastles kids and Vale drawing Stokes in earlier rounds.
