We've gone from having the best defence in the league to conceding six goals in two games recently. That's worrying.

What's happening?

My mate just said to me - 'At least they tried'

Fuck me - I'd try my heart out for 90 minutes to be on 5k+ a week.

There's no inbetween with most of our fans, some are just happy to accept an attempt, and some won't accept anything but a convincing win every week, and when it doesn't happen, it's all panic stations.

Fuckers. Good job Colchester didnt get a 4th in the first half otherwise my pint was being thrown over SSN. No idea why Pack didnt retain his place after Tuesday.

Went to watch Exeter v Plymouth today, Bobby definitely stood out.

How the hell did we concede 3 in one half against this mob? That's two Saturdays in a row we've lost now..

We surely can't bottle this?

Reid was obviously one of the better players on the pitch. Set pieces need improvement and his final ball isnt Championship level.

Fantastic scuffed shot to set up R Reid for the first though.

Thanks Fielding! Poor for 1st and 3rd goal. Even at half time I thought we could get at least a draw but it didn't quite happen. Not sure why ref stopped the game for non head injuries and only 4 minutes added at the end?! Decent 2nd goal by Colchester BTW.

Haha fucking hell, he is absolutely seething in that interview.. Wouldn't of liked to be the players in the dressing room.

To be fair though, how the ref only gave 4 mins added on when listening to the com they stopped play constantly for "head injuries" about 10 times!

Cotterill is having a laugh with his comments there, what a muppet. "It will be sour grapes, won't it?". Well, yes, because it clearly is. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the pitch, and being "famous for head injuries" is hilarious. We're always losing for a start off, so we can't exactly gain a reputation for wasting time when we're chasing games haha. The game seriously didn't stop all that often at all, and I'm sure he wasn't blaming the pitch in the dressing room.

We were excellent in the first half, on the attack and lot and clearly having the better of it. We broke with pace and, for once, put our chances away. Week after week we start well, miss a few chances and some how end up 0-1 down, but today the chances went in and we found ourselves 3-0 up. It made a world of difference to finally play two up front and go for it, so fair play to Tony Humes for changing it up and not just looking to keep it tight like he did against MK Dons in midweek.

At half-time I still suspected we would blow it and desperately needed to keep it at 3-0 for the first 10-15 minutes after the break, as Bristol City's quality would always shine through at some stage with an onslaught. The fluke first goal knocked us back and at 3-2 with half an hour still to go, I thought we'd be lucky to get a point to be honest. I'm still stunned we resisted for half an hour, and we could (maybe should) even have wrapped it up on the break late on when Moncur smashed over from inside the box.

Excellent week's work for us. If you had offered us six points from Oldham (A), MK Dons (H) and Bristol City (H) last week, I would have gladly taken that. Would have been happy with two points from these two home games to be honest.

Yeah, what's biased about it? We played well in the first half, and then sat back and got battered in the second half - as you would have expected to happen. As I say, I'm surprised (and delighted!) that we held on for all three points.

I'm well biased, me.

So no dubious timewasting for multiple head injuries.... With no physio attention ?

Look well done for your win.... Think cotts was just annoyed with your tactics, every team time waste, but some via poor, weak refereeing take the piss.

A muppet he is not,also.

No dubious timewasting, no. I only remember the physio coming on once, it wasn't for a head injury, and the lad got subbed shortly afterwards because he had taken a knock. In fact, I wish we would actually try and time waste more on the rare occasions we are in front - we never even run the ball into the corner for christ sake, kept giving it back to Fielding instead.

I'd say Cotterill was more annoyed with your shit first half performance than anything we did, and I'm sure he was blaming the "awful" pitch (that was completely flat and pretty green) instead of throwing some of your players under a bus. Such as Luke Ayling, to name but one, who was appalling and hauled off after half an hour.
