is that how you make up so many posts, by playing thick ? And is it a qualification for being a moderator btw ?
I'm not going to respond to you after this post, but in answer to your question, no, I'm not "playing thick," I genuinely can't understand what you're saying. Maybe try speaking properly and people will be able to converse with you normally.

Cheers.

That's a Yes then  btw when are you going change that fucking ugly ex player avatar? It's scaring my kids:fl:

I honestly don't know why you think that. Unless you thought my comment to Tom was about Holloway, when quite clearly I was talking about Cotterill if you read it again.

The El-Abd avatar will never be changed. And he's still one of our players :)

I'm still always expecting things to go wrong with Cotterill due to my initial doubts, but things have gone well for so long, there's no way that he's a bad manager. You don't have a sustained period of success like that if you are a bad manager.

I agree from an outsider perspective his interviews can come across poorly. It's obviously not as bothersome being a City fan. However, his interviews have never been that great, SOD's were far more engaging if you could get past his tone of voice!

For me, Cotterill seems very much a man-manager. He'll speak the truth when things are going wrong but also get the players' going when we're doing well, and there's a good team spirit amongst the squad. He's not bothered about how he comes across to the media, he's a results man and that passion can often get the better of him after a defeat. But it's that same passion that can motivate a team.

We must respond to today's result on Tuesday night.

I couldnt give a flying one if he upset a few Colchester fans or if the rest of the league thinks hes a nause. Their opinions don't matter and since when was football a popularity contest anyway? Its about results results results and no other team has matched us in that department.

What do people think about his long term future with us??? Assuming we go up (big if I know!!!), do people see him as the right man to push us on to the top half of the championship and higher? His record at that level is average at best and I fear he could come unstuck against more tactically minded managers.

To be fair, preston fans hate him more than most because he's ex burnley.

I like him personally, does come across as a sore loser when we lose though.

If he gets us promoted he should stay until he either leaves of his own accord or we're relegated. Trying to upscale managers in that league didn't exactly work well with Johnson, or even Ward for that matter.

The way all of you describe him it sounds like you could replace all your posts with Karl Robinson and it would describe him.

If you go up he might do quite well for you, he has seemed to just clicked with city. Who knows though, higher league, more difficult opposition. Don't know what your budget would be like either but you'll probably be dwarfed by some teams. Id expect you to stay up though.

If Rotherham can....

In all honesty wasn't enamoured when he was appointed, but in fairness to the bloke he has turned the club around, we had a few years of utter shite and boredom prior to his appointment.
90% of managers in due time are sacked, the others poached, I will give my full support while he is here and long may his reign continue.

I could have written this as I was also underwhelmed when Cott's was appointed but he's done very well at a club that was nose diving with massively overpaid players so fair play to him. The fact he doesn't like losing is fine with me although he was particularly prickly yesterday.
The only certainty is that City and Cott's will, at some point, part company as will every other club and Manager.

Nobody likes losing, it isn't an excuse for acting like a petulant child. If an opposition manager came out with that after we played them he would be called every name under the son. Quite suprised a few city fans dont mind him acting like that. The same fans who jump at a chance to have a pop at Robinson (who is a ****) He is more than happy to be chirpy and witty when we win, got to take the rough with the smooth Steve.

I never said that his interview wasn't embarrassing but the fact he doesn't like losing and shows it sits fine with me. I half expected him to rip into Adam Baker during that interview as he was plainly furious!

The act that Cotterill was tactically out thought by Grayson would worry me if I was a City fan

Score a breakaway goal then dont leave your half for the whole second 45.

33% possession, fantastic tactics, go Grayson.

33% possession, fantastic tactics earning a 1-0 win against runaway leaders who hadn't lost at home al season, go Grayson.

Fixed.

Just saw the goals, 1st and 3rd definitely fielding a fault... How the hell he didn't save the third at his near post God knows.. Tavernier done for pace on the 2nd... His goal was fantastic though haha.

Oh, and I'd be more worried being a preston fan who's team seemingly forget how to play without their main man - Garner.

Tom seems to changed his tune on the back of 3 wins. Two weeks ago they were 'fucking crap and have been for months' now he seems to think they rule the roost.

Jesus...Out-thought? Were you there? He deliberately set you up to not leave your own half? I take my fucking hat off......

I was there, and the second half was pretty comfortable really. It was all you but all you did was launch it into the box which played into our hands.

Why are we talking about the Preston game? Im pretty sure at the time we all agreed that Preston got their tactics spot on and were pretty good value for their win, but had Wilbrahan not missed an open goal 10 minutes in it would probably have been a different result

Yeah, before our goal you should have been 3 up in all fairness!
