Partial Barnet released list. I'm hoping this gets a lot longer.

Byron Harrison (thank god)
Dave Tarpey (turned down contract)
Nana Kyei
Fumnaya Shomotun
Darnell Smith
Joe Payne
Dwight Pascal
Malakai Mars

Looks like Still did, as many of us suspected, hand out 2 year deals like confetti so I suspect we are trying to pay a few off over the next couple of weeks. So many poor signings by him, need to take lessons from this and not give out long contracts so easily.

How many of those names have you made up?

There are a few players from our academy who we have held onto for a few seasons now hoping they will come good but it just hasn't worked out. They have barely played over the past few years so are pretty obscure.

Our current U18s contain Wraynel Hercules and K-Ci Allen so there might be more FM regen names to come!

Sanmi Odelusi, Jordan Preston, Ben Tomlinson, Shaun Rowley and James Berrett all been released by us. Suspect a few more to leave in the coming weeks.

Not majorly surprised by any of them. Would have all been squad players at best. Feel for Tomlinson as he's good enough but far too injury prone. Odelusi definitely our most underwhelming signing of the season considering his past.

I want him back, and from what I've heard he's keen to come back here. We're certainly a better team with him in the side.

Didn't fancy keeping Jake "positive vibes" Cassidy then?
If rumours are to be believed he threw his toys out the pram and refused to play the last couple of games due to a fallout with management.

He sounds a right knob. Glad we didn't sign him in the end.

I hope we look at some of them. Desperately need an experienced leader at the back and a proper full back. Whether any of them want to come to the NE is another question though.

I think we'll be busy ransacking Gateshead, would love to have Tinkler from them, especially if Noble leaves.

Yup we will be. But Ridehalgh and McNulty would improve us. Never rated Cole Stockton though.

Me and one of McNulty's cousins go a long way back and I'll have a word with him like I asked him to last year. He wasn't interested though and wanted another crack at the FL.

BYRON HARRISON IS NOT LONGER EMPLOYED BY US

THIS SEASONS SHITE-NESS IS NOW EXPUNGED. WHAT A DAY!

Worst striker in the division. Give me Quigley any day.

Probably not worse than Quigley or Bird, but my word he was a massive flop here. Experienced forward with a decent track record who spent most of the the time flailing about up top, winning no headers and falling over all the time. Currie rightly wrote him off when he literally refused to chase down a loose ball that he could have potentially scored a winner with vs Solihull.

Was brilliant for us (arguably one of the best in the division!) until an innocuous injury. Came back six months later and looked like he was permanently limping. Shite ever since.

You'll live to regret those words.

I’ve never seen a striker give less of a shit. The bottom line is that your technical ability is something that you can’t inmediately help. But your effort and work rate is. I don’t think I ever saw him go faster than a light jog (seriously - that’s no exaggeration).

Cassidy was amazing when he played for us first time but awful second time. Not quite sure what happened in between.

Makes you wonder if it is an attitude thing

McNultys lack of pace has been massively found out in league 2 however his distribution and reading of the game is second to none. I'm suprised hes not been tried as sweeper.

Ridehalgh gives it away too often or punts optimistic crosses into the box where we have Norwood and Jennings it just gets nodded away.

Tollitt I feel sorry for. He was awful last season on his return and is 5th choice winger now .

Dagnell never given a chance and Stockton made a gesture to the home supporters after he scored and was loaned out 2 days later

He said we were the most toxic fan base he'd ever played in front of amongst other things. The only thing he was right about is that we were negative...mainly 'cos we had to watch shite like him every week.

Interesting to note that since he's gone the atmosphere at home has got better, home form has improved and there is less negativity. Read into that what you will.

He will definitely be released and judging by his performance yesterday his mind is already at the Racecourse.

However, we will be keeping Ridehalgh.

Update from SCFC:

Already contracted for next season -
- Ben Hinchliffe
- Ian Ormson
- Sam Walker
- Elliot Osborne
- Connor Dimaio
- Jake Kirby
- Adam Thomas
- Frank Mulhern

Offers made to to retain the following -
- Sam Minihan
- Dan Cowan
- Scott Duxbury
- Ash Palmer
- Paul Turnbull
- Jordan Keane
- Matty Warburton
- Nyal Bell

Waiting for him to return from holiday before talks -
- Darren Stephenson

Youngsters under consideration -
- Jordan Downing
- Festus Arthur
- Szymon Czubik

Not retained -
- Adam Etches

No major surprises really. Basically looking to keep the title-winning side together. Big question mark over which out-of-contract players will stay on, the big one for most people will be top scorer (and best part-time player in the country) Matty Warburton... personally I hope he has a look at how the likes of Danny Lloyd and Jason Oswell struggled following their big moves, and hold on for a year at this level before moving on. But if he wants to take the chance then he's more than earned it.

For me the most important ones are Keane and Palmer, the rest we can afford to lose & replace but those two are players you build a team around.

The other big news is that we're keeping the hybrid part/full-time training structure. I know that going purely full-time is a cause celebre for some County fans, far as I'm concerned if this keeps 90% of our squad together then I'm all for it.

He's been in and out of the team due to injuries. Started the season on fire. He was assisting for fun. He then picked up a bad injury and we rushed him back too early due to an injury crisis/bad form and he got a season-ending injury pretty much straight away.

With that squad, especially if you can keep Warburton,.. I fancy County wont get relegated :fish::fl:

Joining us made him injury-prone! Luigi the angel of death has struck again...

I don't think he had any injury issues here. He looked way out of his depth in his first couple of games and was then barely seen again. We loaned him out quite a bit.
