:fl: How much money do Ebbsfleet have ffs? Turns down our extension and drops two tiers...

He'll murder Conf South.
Do you mean in the same way that all these ex Barnet players at Boreham Wood are murdering the Conference National.....?
(Or whatever this league is called now)

We've had money since the end of the season we got relegated mate. Two managers failed so far, looks like we're finally on our way back up.

The way things are going it wont be long before you overtake Charlton!

Quite a few Charlton fans already planning on watching us, Welling and Dartford. Absolute circus there ATM. Our crowds are slowly on the up which is good. Over a thousand in each of the last 8 league games with Margate and Dartford (could potentially be the title clincher) at home still to play. Should be looking at 1,500 crowds next season I reckon.

Still reckon we will sign one or two more.

We've signed Andy Parry on loan from Luton (any opinions?) and Nick Wilmer-Anderton for the rest of the season, which I'm very happy about - good solid left-back and decent going forwards too, miles better than Ashton, who's been a disappointment on the whole.

Firmly believe Parry would be a first choice player for us right now if he hadn't have picked up an injury in our title winning season. We were just starting to hit our stride with him as a holding player, he got injured and couldn't get back in when he came back from injury, for obvious reasons.

Really liked the look of him as a holding midfield player, but he hasn't played for us for about 2 seasons. A shame how injuries ruin some players chances, hope he finds a decent permanent home.

Who was that midfielder you signed from West ham in your title season? Young chap who was very good! But can never remember his name.

We've also signed Alex Smith, defender/midfielder. Was at Fulham and had loan spells at Leyton Orient and Swindon. Played six times for Yeovil last season before being released. I'd have thought he will be on some sort of non-contract deal to see how he gets on - like Keohane was earlier in the season.

It's pretty hard to be Conference Champions when you are not even in it........
I think you'll find it's impossible to be champions and still in it. I know it has been a while but surely you remember how promotion works.

I was talking about Ebbsfleet not Barnet.
Surely you remember how English works.

I do.
Quoting a Barnet fan who is referring to being champions and not stating another team led me to an incorrect assumption.
Anyway, glad it's just a misunderstanding. Although it looks like it wont be long until Ebsfleet join the ranks of the wealthy knocking on the football league door.

Not impossible. Happened to us in 1994 and a few other teams as well in the past

He was at Altrincham on loan in August / September / October. He would have played against you when you came on 3rd October (he was injured the following Tuesday night against Halifax and that was the last we saw of him).

He was alright playing central defence; slotted in quickly, seemed professional and looked solid enough. He started one game in midfield and didn't look very comfortable IMO.

That's worrying, because it's a midfield role that I'm sure we signed him for.

As PaulHaddock says it was Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, currently having his career ruined by injury unfortunately and just cannot stay fit, don't think he will ever reach his potential.

Aaron oconnor joins Stevenage on loan, don't understand why pennock has frozen him out, he got 9 goals in the first part of the season before getting injured, still our top scorer -_-

Because that's Pennock's whole M.O.

The man's about as good a man manager as Donald Trump is a diplomat.
