Two Ghana caps and top flight experience in China and Cyprus, so strictly speaking that's the truth....(plus he's played in both the Champions league and Europa league). Probably the best we can do on the ex-international bit with our budget tbf
He wasn't great for us but was made out as the scapegoat. Think he could do well in the conference

After losing practically the entirity of the squad that got them promoted along with the coaching staff, North Ferriby now atleast have a good number of players (quality wise is more akin to bottom half conference north/northern premier league standard but atleast they can field 11 players).

Retained:

Louis Bruce (defence)
Sam Topliss (defence)
Mark Gray (defence)
Ben Middleton (defence)
Danny Emerton (midfield)
Danny Clarke (midfield)
Ross Armstrong (midfield)
Adam Bolder (midfield)
Curtis Bateson (striker)
Ryan Kendall (striker)

Signed:

Goalkeepers:

Rory Watson (Hull, loan)

Defenders:

Taron Hare (York) - Might be a midfielder
Jordon Cooke (Worksop/Buxton)
Jake Skelton (Leeds)

Midfielders:

Ryan Fallowfield (Hull)
Connor Oliver (Blackpool)
Simon Russell (Gainsborough)
Stephen Brogan (Gainsborough)

Strikers:

Darryn Stamp (assistant manager/striker apparently)
Connor Robinson (from Lincoln)
Vinny Mukendi (Oxford City)
Good old Stampy, still going strong. Scored the goal that won us this league 12 years ago.

Was supposedly a centre half when he was with us but I think I only ever saw him get 45 minutes in a friendly, basically never played for us at all so hard to judge. But if he couldn't get a game in the worst defence in the football league...

Reckon you lot will be right up there this season.
Think we are a decent pacey centre back short but the rest of squad isn't too far away at all, made some good signings in Arnold, Habergham and Woodyard.

Ryan Cresswell signs for Eastleigh, will boss the conference. Unsurprisingly paying him big ££ to get him to move so far from his home.

Also had another L2 LB trial last night, who looked the business. Certain we'll sign him today.

yes i was very impressed with him last night. Its all coming together very late in PS, but i can now see us really challenging hard from the off this season. The defence was always my concern & has always been our weak link. But with Cresswell and potentially Barrow to play along side Joe Partington (destined to play higher) and Ayo Odileye, we are looking more solid than i probably imagined.

I'm not going to say how I know as I'd get my bollocks clipped, but Jake Hyde was on £1400pw, not sure how this would compare to Vadaine.

Only for 6 months though, so assume you'll still be paying some of his wages. Guessing he's got 1 year left in his contract, so as soon as his 6 months are up, you'll be shipping him straight out again? Maybe or maybe not an extension if he does well at his new club.

Scott Barrow is a good play off standard player for this level, but I think if you really want to win the league then you need slightly better. The other Macc fans might not agree with me, but when we played some of the better teams away in 2014-15, such as Bristol Rovers, he was definitely having a tough time defensively against some of the best players at this level, and definitely contributed to the 4-0 loss. He is very good at running with the ball, and capable of the odd screamer.
