Another loan signing for us, Blair Turgott from Boreham Wood until the end of the season.

Always seems to play well against us so I'm happy with this one.

Scott Doe who recently left Daggers has signed for Conference South basement club Whitehawk?! Have they come in to money again?

Yes. Steve King wouldn't have signed a 3 year deal there without some assurances.

John McCombe left Chester and signed for Harrogate Town apparently.
McCombe out and Myles Anderson in.

McCombe’s a high earner who’s on a 30 game trigger for a new contract who we aren’t allowing to trigger, so if he wasn’t useless enough already he soon will be! Meanwhile Anderson isn’t costing us a single penny with subsidised wages. He’s better than McCombe anyway so it’s a bloody good piece of business.

Anderson looked good at centre back in his loan spell before getting injured, hopefully that continues.

Nathan Arnold to Salford confirmed. Absolutely spunking money at it they are, I'm sure every top half Conference side would have been in for him. They will be hated when they arrive in the National League.

Tonnes of Club's in for him apparently, as you'd expect. Unbelievable signing for that level.

Initial 3-month loan, but possibly permanent at the end of the season. He got another year when we got promoted so we should receive a decent fee somewhere down the line as well.

You boys must be raking it in, what with your high attendances, last year's FA Cup money and any fees for players.

League 2 is yours to lose next year if you don't go up this time round.

We’ve belatedly confirmed the signing of Nathan Mavila from Wingate & Finchley until the end of the season. Woooo.

Luke Rooney is the latest one to join the Billericay circus. What a waste of talent, hes far to good to be playing at that level.

Johan Ter Horst has left us to sign for Folkestone

No surprises there really, he'll go back there and score a load.

Looked very disinterested when we had him on loan under Jamie Day.

As you say, massive waste of a talent.

What’s he like, seem to trust your word.
Thought Conner Brown was hopeless first match, but got to admit he has grown on me and just made it a permanent move as well.
I like him, he's strong, he has a turn of pace when needed and is good on the ball going forwards. Occasionally switches off at the back though. He's not played much under Cox so could be rusty.

You got anymore players under 6ft any good.
Cox would let Messi go?

As far as I know we still have James Wesolowski, Kevan Hurst and John Rooney stored in the locker labelled footballers.
Messi? Cox would put him on a rack until he was tall enough play in his 'system'. Wouldn't let him on the pitch until he promised not to dribble with the ball, take on a player or pass the ball less than thirty yards at a time. The passes have to be to an opposition player or into touch if that's not possible. :bang:

James Alabi tribunal today. I wonder how much Chester will have to pay Tranmere?

When we lost James Hanson to Bradford City we got under 10k and a pre-season friendly.
Tranmere offered £10-12k and Chester bizarrely wanted £40k. Whilst this season isn’t taken into account Tranmere will just point to various other similar players we have bought for under £10k since we joined this league.

Our full accounts came out earlier in the week and as of end of May, £2.7m in the bank! That's without huge increase in ST sales (6k), Raggett fee, increased FL payments etc.

Anyway, reason I'm back in here is for the Dover fans really. Our accounts show £65k for players bought - Raggett and Whitehouse. The latter was heavily rumoured to be around the £20k mark, so £40k-£45k for Raggett all in (excluding sell-on) looks about right. I can vaguely recall Kinnear mentioning around £50k after our game last season.

New signing for the Stones as Wycombe Wanderers defender Will De Havilland joins on loan till the end of the season.
Sorry Maidstone fans but he's not very good and a lot of our fans our happy he's gone out on loan as wouldn't start games no matter how many injured defenders we had.

Outcome is £22,500 plus 15% sell on clause.

£10k to buy him and £12.5k for Chester to take him back?

Would love to know who scouted him/chose to sign him.
