Nathan Pond is a ridiculous signing for this level. With Alexander as manager and the calibre of those signings, it would be a monumental fuckup to not win it. Yet they’ll find a way around FFP when they reach League 2 and decimate that as well.

They have made some good signings today but Gary Neville has said there won't be many more and they have a lot of players already signed for next season who aren't of the quality to win the National League in my opinion. I think Salford are more likely to reach the play offs this season before some of their weaker players contracts run out next summer and they buy another 15 outrageous players and win the league in 2019-2020.

I'm going to agree with this, I think next season they'll push for the title.

Same, we binned him off as a youth player years ago without him getting a sniff of the first team, we simply have to be interested in him now, especially the state Gateshead seem to be in, we can't let a goalscorer like him from Teesside slip away from under our noses.

He was a youth teamer at Boro then joined our youth setup, was a pretty prolific scorer at that level but never broke through to the first team and was let go, it sounds like our budget is lower this year also but if he's available for nowt we'd be crazy not to be interested.

They've shortened to 6's or 7's and Chesterfield have drifted slightly to similar odds. Then it's in 12's for Orient and Wrexham.

I liked Jalal though. He’ll make the odd clanger but I would have rather kept him than Chris Dunn last season.
