Pools have signed left back Mark Kitching from Rochdale. He was affectionately nicknamed 'Roberto Carlos' by the Dale fans. Rave reviews on twitter.

Played 20 odd games in League One last season.

It's coming home.

Not a player but we've just appointed Graham Barrow as our assistant, was at Flyde last year in some capacity I believe. Previously worked for Wigan, Chester, Rochdale & Bury
I mean, he was part of our worst management team in history...

Played more in midfield than defence for us. Bit unlucky not to get a new deal, but we have a couple of youngsters in midfield pushing for starts who are better long term prospects.

He's tall and can tackle - possibly be very good at centre back if given a run there.

Hope he does well!

Orient fans we’ve signed Tristan Abrahams from Norwich for the season. Understand he came through your youth system...What’s he like?

Apparently he’s done pretty well for their U23s so should be a good option for us, I hope.

Part of our all-conquering youth team from a couple of years back. Very pacy and a good finisher. Hold up play was alright for a kid. Up for the physical side. Think he’ll start slowly but get better with experience.

The way we play was set up for him to shine but he was awful. Won’t tackle, weak as piss and nowhere near the level he should be at on the ball. How he’s at posh is a mystery

Dunno about you but I’ve been very impressed with these signings, wasn’t anticipating this after the shit show of last season, cap it off now with a few loanees from the Boro and we can dare to dream of a successful season :ohm::ohm:

Happy with the signings and the way the club is going at the minute but I said that this time a year ago

We (Halifax) have resigned Jacob Hanson on loan from Bradford until January. Only really played one game in his loan spell towards the back of last season due to injury but looked very good in it

We've signed Gary Stopforth (midfielder ex Salford?) today.
We like Gary Stopforth at County. He's a really hard worker and probably the fittest of all the players we had last season. His ability on the ball is limited but he reads the game well and gets stuck in. Also a real character and thoroughly likeable guy.

Left us because his minutes were diminishing he was getting bored of commuting from Burnley.

An excellent midfielder for any NLN side in my opinion.

Sounds good. J&M seem to have concentrated on signing defenders and (defensive?) midfielders so far. But with the release of Hannah & James, I guess we may see some activity in bolstering the attacking options.

I would add a caveat to that - he looked to me like age was catching up with him towards the end and the majority of his game is based on energy.

We’re announcing our next signing at 5pm according to our twitter. Included a picture of the number 7 shirt to go with it. This kind of tease peed off a lot of people on our forum the other day. Love that their opinion clearly means absolutely bugger all to the club.

Luke Summerfield apparently. He any good?

Jussi Jääskeläinen has signed on as GK coach too.

Lots of experience at least. Could definitely do worse if it is him. Wouldn’t strike me as a no.7 though, that’s more of an out wide player’s number wouldn’t you say?

Pleased with Jussi. Would be tempted to sign him on as a player too, sure he could still do a job.

Now this is either Wedgbury’s replacement, or Ricketts still doesn’t quite trust Akil Wright enough to be a mainstay in our midfield. Which would make sense as he’s still young and developing. Good signing on paper though, plenty of much needed experience. Wonder if Pearson knows him..

He's from the same town as Luke Young. He's been brought in to be Luke's new older brother.

Solid signing that in Summerfield. Was good for us on loan the season before last, and from what I've read he then went back to Grimsby and played very well for them last season.

Summerfield was good in the quarterback role for us last year. An absolute bomb scare the season before, hence getting sent on loan to Macc. For him to win a few POTY awards last year was a huge turnaround and I was sad to see him go. Seeing as he’s only signed a 1-year deal, I’m wondering why he rejected us (although he does live near Bolton).

Good passer, is a fairly calm head, takes a good corner. Was particularly tenacious for us in our survival run. Just don’t let him take long shots!

Strange one Summerfield, sent on loan to Macc as he was hopeless at the time and had his contract been up after that he would have been out the door but had a year left on it so we had to keep him, and when he came back he was a completely different player, forced his way back in the team and was excellent for us last year, although still completely hopeless when it came to shooting. Should be a good signing for Wrexham I reckon, hope he does well.
