Shots fans - Was he one of your better players last season or should I be worried?

Been with us three seasons and hasn’t really progressed. Looked decent in his first season but once Benyu/Mensah/Kanu left he’s been poor. Has one good game every 10 matches and spent the majority of this season injured - wouldn’t get too excited over this one I’m afraid!

Thanks. Does he usually play wide? I wouldn't mind if so as we have no quality out there but if he's being signed as a new centre forward that sounds worrying.

Probably a sensible move for all involved as he was often injured and never deployed correctly here, though I do feel sorry for the lad if the rumours that Ryan Bird is joining Slough are true as he'll have to put up with that clown getting nowhere near his pinpoint crosses again.

I'm glad to hear Ryan Bird wasn't just shit for us.

One of the highest paid players in our history. He can barely move and wins no headers despite being more imposing than many CBs. We're desperately trying to offload him but it doesn't look like there are any takers.

He's a big threat, tall, quick, strong and good off the ball. Lots to work with there and he really wants to play for us so great signing IMO.

To be honest we rarely got to see him play, he only played like 2 games for us and they were both County Cup games. To put things into perspective we had like 7 or 8 keepers this season yet none of the managers we had thought he was good enough to start in the league.

So I was proper shocked when I saw you signed him if I'm honest.

Ah four then, though I doubt if being an unused sub counts. They partnered each other at Carlisle, then Barrow, now Chester.

Not a new signing but midfielder Gavin Holohan has agreed an extended deal with us. Signed him short term in Jan from some Irish outfit and to be fair he's looked a good player so a decent bit of business there
