Alfreton Town have signed ex Notts County and Chesterfield man Andy Kellet who was most recently at AFC Fylde. Any good?

Ability wise he should be in the Football League, but he’s just constantly injured.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Shots have signed another Frenchman, Yannis Drais, from Bessancon. Apparently a box-to-box midfielder. A few more and we shall be singing “La Marseillaise”.

If he’s not injured, too good for NLN. Hasn’t played much in the last couple of seasons but he’s just what we’re missing, a combative creative midfielder.

By all accounts he's not fit, he's had an op after a shoulder injury but he's here for next season. Will probably be a bench player for the remainder of this season and make a push for a start next season.

We’ve brought Richie Bennett in from Port Vale for an undisclosed fee.

Finally in March we have a an actual striker who looks good enough for this level.

Probably a bit of a split among Barrow fans, as he was raw but knew where the goal was. Carlisle fans, however, rate him as one of the worst strikers they've had... They stuck him in defence for a bit.

A robust option up front.

Surprising move as we might need him with Cullen injury prone and Pope still potentially to get a long ban, seems crazy when we are deep in a play off challenge and may rely on Jordan Archer!

He’s alright, doesn’t hold the ball up very well for a big man or head a ball but has a thunderous strike and had got a few goals early season for us.

The fee obviously helped and he’s worked with the big nasty man Jim Gannon at Northwich where he started to get his career back on track.

If you’re relying on Archer then you’re completely screwed - he’s a top half National North striker at best.

If Bennett can repeat the 16 goals he got at this level with Barrow then I’ll be happy enough.

I can only assume we know Pope isn’t going to get banned (certainly this season) it wouldn’t make sense especially for 20 grand which isn’t money we desperately need.

Archer was immense on his debut but barely featured after dislocating his shoulder, doesn’t seem to get look in hence the loan... best hope Cullen and Pope stay fit.

Think Bennett is on 6 or 7 for us and we’ve rotated the three strikers so got them in less than average apps. I liked him but was too weak away from home, hope he does well.

Further proof that scoring in the NL doesn't make them FL strikers and why FL Club don't often seem to take punts on high scoring ones.

Unbelievable Kings Lynn have signed Alex Brown from Buxton for an undisclosed fee. ( England C defender)
The week after begging fans for money to see this season out.
But then again this is the idiot chairman who accused York and Altrincham of faking players being ill to cancel last scheduled game.

Nuneaton have signed Leroy Lita, not that I can see step 3 football resuming any time soon.
