Sounds like Alty love him, a bizarre but nice statement here.

Yeah, but thats what its like these days at Alty, everything and everybody is positive. We have a fantastic side and management team, Elliot added to that for a few games but we cant blame him for moving on. With or without him, we will shock a few NL sides this season with how we play. Cant wait.

Alty have signed a very good second keeper Matt Gould from Spennymoor. Son of of ex-Celtics legendary Keeper Jonathan Gould. We needed competition for this shirt but our keeper for last 3 years Tommo has been brilliant,... so Matt has his work cut-out to get on the sheet.

We've signed the media bloke from Hartlepool.

He’s not only the best right back in the league but he’s a top bloke and excellent at his job. Woefully treated by the club here after many years of dedicated service. Hope the club pays him his redundancy money some time, the fucking shysters.

We’ve signed Matt Stenson, recently released by Solihull.

Not got a clue about him, any insights?

Was really good for Leamington until he signed for Solihull and apparently they just never utilised him right according to their fans. From the small amount I've seen he should make a decent national league striker

As well as Stenson, we’ve also announced the signing of Martin Woods. Experienced midfielder. Anyone know much about him?

On the face of it a good signing for you guys and seems like a good foil for McCallum, however he's never really done it at this level on previous occasions.

I don’t see him starting but rather him over Quigley off the bench!

We’ve signed midfielder Jake Reeves from Bradford. Formerly of Spurs, Brentford, Wimbledon and Swindon.

Can’t say I know too much about him?

Won promotion to League One under Ardley at Wimbledon, but had a really serious injury after moving to Bradford for a decent fee.

One of those who should be too good for this level if he‘s fit - managed a good run of 15/20 games for Bradford through from the end of November to the pandemic striking, which is promising.

I don't think he's really had a proper go at this level to be fair rather than him failing. He had a bad injury when Ebbsfleet were first promoted and he never really had a run of games at Sutton. I'm happy with this.

Ebbsfleet utd
Mcmahon originally signed him for Ebbsfleet and he was mustard, very, very pacy and deadly in the box until his serious injury.
Time will tell if he's still got it, he's young enough to have overcome it.
No surprise Mcmahon jumped at the chance to sign him again.

Billy Clifford has signed for Havant (pretty much as far away from Hartlepool as you can get). With him and Godfrey Poku in central midfield, there aren’t going to be many better partnerships in the south.

We had plenty of players leave us last season who supporters thought were irreplaceable but I’m confident Dean Brennan will find a suitable replacement.

Kieran Green signs for us. Don’t know where the Hartlepool rumour came from. Seems to have been common knowledge he was coming to us for weeks

He's never played in the EFL before. Have Carlisle gone part time? Looks like it's not just Stevenage trying to survive in L2 on mid table NL players.

Aldershot have signed Chike Kandi. I found him to be a frustrating player. He doesn't have that striking instinct to be a 15-20 goal man. On the wing, he just runs when he has the ball but I think he's quite easy to defend against as it is literally kick and run. Scored 11 for us last season. However, he doesn't feel like a regular goalscorer. He'd have the odd brilliant game where he'd scored 2 and then go 6 without a goal.

Must say, I'm already thinking that Aldershot are in for another struggle this season. If they think Joel Nouble, Chike Kandi and Paniyiatou are going to get them the goals to kick on, then they're in for a nasty surprise.
