Latest signing Luke Summerfield. Any good Wrexham fans?

His legs went the season before last. A good player on his day, but his day is becoming increasingly rare.

His legs are still there out on the pitch waiting for someone to bin them. We should never have re-signed him last summer.

He was outstanding when he first signed up until Ricketts left. Like everyone else pretty much. But for such a experienced player he isn't half a coward and always goes missing when it gets tough.

A proper ex-league journeyman then - excellent stuff!

Halifax and Wrexham signed another 10 players again today?

They're like kids in a sweet shop.

I've not revealed the "Wages Par League" yet, I will do this closer to the seasons start but I can assure you that in the last week or two, Wrexham in particular who signed a player yesterday from former FA Cup Winners, Coventry City have indeed been bumped up the list.

Wrexham expects.

Odd one really. Seems to have been a very promising talent but didn't kick a ball for Motherwell last season and on a bit of a downward spiral bit still only 28. Danish full international at 23, signed for Leeds then purely on Wiki stats his career has nosedived.

Aye, Motherwell thing feels more relevant than his time with Denmark and Leeds, just less exciting. I suspect it’s actually a bit of a low wage punt where the rewards are potentially massive, he’ll start behind Reeves, Doyle and O’Brien in the midfield pecking order I would’ve thought.

We signed him just before lockdown and he only came on as a substitute in matches so probably spent 30 minutes in a Wealdstone shirt in total. Midfielder, seems to be a jack of all trades box to box type but he did struggle in his final cameo appearance of the season at Chippenham.

You’re better off asking someone from Concord, his spell there sounds far more successful so should be a good signing.

Blimey. Must have been bad injuries to drop down here as he was a great talent. Thought he’d go the Nick Powell way and end up in the Championship at least. If injuries haven’t completely ruined him, that is some capture.

Yeah he played for england from u16 to u20 with nick powell then bolton paid 300k for him via tribunal. He played in championship but has had 2 serious hamstring injuries 2 ops and now fully fit and needs to prove himself. He's good mates with our mgr and we hope alty can be the route for him back onto full-time footy. Time will tell it cant have been easy for the lad. If he gets back to where he was could be a huge boost for us but longway back methinks.

Good luck to Max. Left on a sour note but all is forgiven given how much of a tosser our last manager was. Completely understand why he wanted out from us years ago.

He'll be very rusty, but I hope he shakes it off and does well for Alty.

That is a very good signing for Stockport. Gilmour is easily good enough for League Two and was a bit unfortunate not to get another deal with us.

He is not the finished article but he is very good technically and has an eye for goal.

Could he play as an 8 or a 10?

I note Tranny fans are saying County have effectively sealed promotion with that signing. Much point in the rest of us turning up?
