We’ve signed a lad called Connor Parsons on loan from Wycombe. Wide player because Aaron Nemane has broken his hand so is out for a while.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s to come in at right wing back. Everyone loves DKE’s energy and tendency to start a scrap, but he’s more of a traditional full back and doesn’t really offer us much going forward.

Wealdstone sign David Sesay on a free, rescuing him from a life at The Council Tip.

also on the Titanic

Manager Andy Hessenthaler has today added to his goalkeeping options with the arrival of Alexis Andre Jr on a non-contract basis.

The 24-year-old Frenchman spent four years with Bristol Rovers, making his EFL debut for the Gas against Walsall in September 2017.

A product of the Nike Academy, Andre Jr, who will wear the number 44 shirt for us, recently made six appearances for Folkestone Invicta while incumbent Tim Roberts was injured.

Meanwhile, in other squad news.

Winger Marshall Wratten has today joined Isthmian South East side Faversham Town on a 90-day loan, while forward Matt Bentley, who arrived on a non-contract basis in September, has now left the club.

Very strange signing

He's been terrible for us, doesn't look interested, and he's not even close to being match fit.

It was the same while he was here. He looked completely shot of any confidence, but doesn't seem to have much ability anyway.

Grosvenor Vale being the epitome of luxury of course.

Sesay is a good signing. The situation is quite strange. We didn't have enough left in our budget to give him a deal, but once some budget was freed up we offered deals to other players instead who we probably needed less.

And here
How we laughed when Barnet paid money for him

Our chairman told the story of his signing on a podcast a few months back. When Kleanthous approached Jim Parmenter about signing the "Dover striker" that Currie had spoken to him about, it was assumed on both sides that it was Inih Effiong. A deal to sign Effiong was agreed, only for Currie to tell TK that it was actually Pavey he wanted. Unfortunately for us this meant that Parmenter knew what kind of budget we had to play with so we ended up paying through the nose for Pavey, who went on to score zero goals for us. Not Currie's finest moment.

Not match fit, but not injured. A player on a one month rolling contract, that was one of your best players. Maybe Brennan isn’t the great manager you all think he is?
Its a long time for an interim manager to be in charge, christ even Tim Flowers has found a job. Once results drop of I’m sure Brennan will find a replacement.

Thrilled at the Sesay signing. Not (just) because he came from Barnet, he's a top player and will add pace and power in the right wing back slot, giving us more balance. He's a coup for a part time club like us, however I understand he's going to remain a pro and train full time with a professional club when not training with us (arranged by our manager). UTS.

Misinformation starting to creep out from PEPF already. He's back in training and about 2 weeks away from a return.

Luxury - being paid what was agreed, when agreed.

A mansion can be luxurious, but a home is Luxury.

Remember Jacob Mendy, didn’t leave Wealdstone for Barnet but went to Borehamwood, maybe the problem is Barnet.

If a player is two weeks from being able to play and hasn't played in two months saying he's injured is hardly "misinformation".

Wealdstone fans and their theories.

Is it the player saying he’s injured or the Interim Manager. Maybe the club only tell you what they want, the search for a manager is going well.

Try not to get to much sand in your eyes and nose.

The player said he was injured, you said he was two weeks away. Brennan didn't say anything, but carry on with the conspiracy that Brennan is using us as some part of grand plan to achieve some kind of underhand goal.

Spoke to him personally a couple of weeks ago at a game. Said he would hope to be involved in the festive games. Still a couple weeks away.

Your fans are so strange.

He’s a top player but the reason most of our fans aren’t fussed is 1) he’s been injured and only made about five appearances 2) spent a few weeks away on international which is where he got injured. 3) was a monthly contract and everyone knew he’d be off in January when a better offer came.

Good luck to him. Nice guy and good player.

He is obviously a decent player but our upturn in form has been completely without him.

For a player and club they dont care about, they seem to get riled a little too easily.
