Aaaand now he’s been sent off and banned for the next three games.

Seen some great stuff from Wednesday fans on Twitter about Ciaran Brennan. ‘Why isn’t he playing?’, ‘we need to call him back to sort out our defence’.

Friends, he came into the team for our only three defeats of the season and got beaten up by Inih Effiong and Marcus Dinanga.

What’s Croll like then Daggers fans? Good debut.

Decent, probably better than two of the 4 centre backs we currently have, had a bad Achilles injury back end of last season so wasn’t resigned due to our small squad policy which is majorly backfiring now.

We’ve got Man Utd’s u23 captain and he started the first game of the season was torn apart by Dagenham and hasn’t played again.

You haven’t signed Yarney on loan mate, we released him at the end of last season. Very meh player, gets dragged around a lot but will probably do ok for you.
It may all be a massive wind-up as there's nothing official, but the internet/social media is suggesting he's gone to a second division club in India. Weird.

Ciaran Brennan has returned to Sheffield Wednesday. Was involved in the back to back nightmares against Woking and Halifax, but also had a couple of decent games, Alty when thrown in on his debut with no other senior CBs, Tamworth away in the cup on the plastic, and Yeovil away in the league. Fell out the squad as our senior CBs returned from injury, which I guess is why Weds have recalled him. Not a bad signing for someone at this level.

He was a bit unlucky that he came in as a kid and was asked to be our only senior centre back for a bit. Struggled big time with the physicality of men’s football though, and never going to get a look in ahead of Cameron, Rawlinson or Lacey. Would probably benefit from a season at this level alongside a more senior partner.

Wouldn't be shocked if Rowe made a move to get Brennan in on loan, just so we can actually play 3 CBs instead of 2 and a LB out of position

Kerr, Grimes and Croll for the forseeable chum. All real life CB's!

His sending off was only two yellows which is a one game ban, so back for Weymouth on Saturday.
Yea I realised like 2 seconds after I posted but couldn't be fucked to edit. That's handy then

Not a signing, but Ben Grist the 16 year old who left us to join Leicester in the summer has signed his first pro contract at the club, so he must have impressed during his first few months.

Boreham Wood sign former Maidenhead keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond on loan from Fulham after an injury to Nathan Ashmore.

We've let Montel Gibson go. Has been out on loan for most of the season, so I'm guessing he's got himself a permanent deal somewhere. One more of Holloway's disaster signings out the door.

Think he might turn out to be a better signing than some of our fans think, much better option than Akanbi that’s for sure. Morais tore us a new one away at Lynn earlier in the season and was playing in a shit team that were playing hoofball, much more suited to our style. Only a back up option and not a bad one.

Goodness knows what we’re thinking with that. Cack signing.

I assume you have seen something in him that we never saw at the Walks, amazed to see he went to another NL side but I guess we will now see if our lack of goals was Morias or a supply issue (more likely both)

I assume you are thinking of someone different in a completely different game? We have no idea (or the personnel) to play hoofball and Morias hasn't torn anything other than an injury earlier in the year but wish him all the best

Kings Lynn probably have one of the highest passing stats in the division. Culverhouse doesn't know any other way to play.

As ever with Chesterfield signings, I’ll be keeping a close eye for when we pick him up in the bargain bucket in a few months’ time.
