Are you taking Pavey back?
his loan is up soon & we've signed a forward on loan from Kings Lynn [how embarrassing]

Gyasi couldn't make our starting XI (or even the bench) some weeks, which probably tells you all you need to know. His only claim to fame is having the worst disciplinary record this season which considering how little game time he has had is some feat.

We've just signed two forwards on loan, so even though Pavey seems to be doing well for you lot, I'm not sure if we even want him back.

Ironically, we improved massively as soon as we shipped him out on loan, no more aimless long ball that we always played when he started, we now actually play some good football. So if you want to keep him, I'd imagine the club would be happy to let him go.

Just listened to Pavey’s interview from last night & he said the clubs were talking about him staying.

They're doing a Cheltenham when we bought Tozer. Can't stop talking about it.

Their chairman was in front of every camera he could find, with the latest news on the deal.

They need to save face from losing one of there better players to a team two divisions below.

I get them publishing the fee, but what we are paying Palmer is nothing to do with them.

I think perhaps they are partly justifying why they let him go. Most lower league football fans understand that if a player at this level coming to the end of their career gets an absolutely life changing offer which will set them up long after their playing days are over it’s hard to stand in their way.

I don't doubt that it's true, I wouldn't have thought we are paying that much more than Wimbledon but the 3.5 years is huge for a 30 year old.

I see Solihull have signed Mark Ellis on loan for the rest of the season. Good signing that, was instrumental in our return to form last year, not the most cultured (although not a row Z merchant either), and can caught if you are playing a high line, but heads everything away, as well as being a real threat in the opposition box. Got 6 goals in about 20 games, including the last minute winner against Chesterfield in the playoffs.

I am officially reinstating Solihull as playoff contenders now (I also see Hudlin was back on the scoresheet again last night).

Mo Bettamer joins us on loan from Aldershot

Hope he does well for you, NLS is probably his level to be honest. Was half decent when he first joined us a couple of years back, but no idea what’s happened in the last 9 months or so but he’s been awful - so far off the pace of the game, doesn’t look interested, doesn’t win headers, doesn’t score goals.

hey I still hate Fleetwood
I feel the heat has come off Fleetwood in recent times. I'm not sure why to be honest, maybe because their spending is less prevalent in League One and with other tinpotters like Morecambe, Accrington and Burton stinking up that division, they've gone a bit more unnoticed than they perhaps should have.

Rochdale splashing the cash after their capture of Charman last week. On average gates of 3,100.

Does Stocky’s spreadsheet cover L2?

They sold their main striker Beasley to Blackpoll the other week so used that money to replace him with Charman and Campbell.

Since summer 2020 we've sold:
Stephen Humphrys to Wigan (percentage of profit to Southend)
Ollie Rathbone to Rotherham
Jake Beesley to Blackpool
Aaron Morley to Bolton
plus got payments from WBA as part of the sell on clause on Craig Dawson's move to Watford.

We've paid for
Humphrys from Southend Beesley from Solihull
Luke Charman from Darlington
Tahvon Campbell from Woking

Income well above outgoings on those.

Shows how far that EFL and TV wonga goes when you can be comfortable on those sort of crowds. We all need to just get out of here.
