Since turning out for you lot he's played over 100 League 1 and 2 games. So presumably he's improved.

I dont know much about him so will give him a chance before I write him off.
Was woeful for the Mackems their fans hated him. Hopefully he works out but he didnt stand out in a struggling side at our place which would be a concern

Squad filler signing.

Now for that midfielder we've needed all season, we are going to sign one....right?

He was absolutely trash for us - we hoped he'd be decent back up for Adebisi but he was not. Could potentially do a job as a wing back in the National League but don't ask him to do any actual defending.

Since summer 2020 we've sold:
Stephen Humphrys to Wigan (percentage of profit to Southend)
Ollie Rathbone to Rotherham
Jake Beesley to Blackpool
Aaron Morley to Bolton
plus got payments from WBA as part of the sell on clause on Craig Dawson's move to Watford.

We've paid for
Humphrys from Southend Beesley from Solihull
Luke Charman from Darlington
Tahvon Campbell from Woking

Income well above outgoings on those.

Yeah I don’t think that signing = Rochdale splashing the cash. I think some down here may have forgotten that you can sell players to make money too

Wonder if you lot have enough left for O’Keefe too.

None of our wing backs can defend so he should fit in OK!

Phil Brown must have rocked up at Col U. They've signed John Akinde, 1 goal in 20 odd goals @ Gillingham and @ 32 that has earnt him a 2 1/2 year contract!

Signed goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros on loan from Liverpool.

Clear that, as much as he keeps saying otherwise, Burchnall doesn’t trust Slocombe any more. Interesting one though, been on the bench for their first team a few times and won the extremely prestigious League of Ireland goalkeeper of the year award out on loan last season. :err:

Update - Liverpool fans naturally baffled at why he’s on loan here and not Benfica or somewhere.

Wrexham's spending is insane the Welsh nutcases. My Excel isn't up to date, it can't keep up with these figures, who's this left back they've signed? Whoever the c*** is it's come up with a formatting error he's on that much money.

Is there anyone who isn't Niall Quinn or Kevin Phillips that they don't hate though?

Burchnall delighted with his new goalkeeper because “he’s happy to play high up the pitch”.

Ian Burchnall and his chequebook. More new goalie gloves at Meadow Lane than a Sports Direct warehouse.

A defeat at Bromley Saturday and he's back in Sweden surely. He can't keep getting away with this.

Imagine if we don't sign one.

We had to move a centre back into centre mid Tuesday night because one got injured.

A teenage centre back at that. One who has played a handful of games in his life.

It is truly baffling that there's seemingly no transfer fee that we won't pay where centre backs are concerned but won't bring a single central midfielder player to the club.

We needed 2 last season, we needed 2 in the summer.....and we still need 2. Even a loan player, anyone?

Depends how much Mansfield and the player want in terms of fees and wages, and if anyone else is in for him.

Also depends on the fitness of Jimmy Keohane at Dale - broke a bone in his foot a couple of months ago, don't know on the timescale for him returning to match fitness. JK can play anywhere on the pitch pretty competently, but has done best at wing back (either side) in the past. If he's reasonably close then the need for O'Keeffe lessens.

Rochdale the creepy little bastards. Have they still got Keith Hill as manager?

Fuck knows what is going on behind the scenes there but just glad I'm ignorant to it all. Sometimes you're best off not knowing,

Fair above mate. I’m sure Stocky has run all these through his spreadsheet and would have flagged it if there were any discrepancies. Seems you’ve spent the money well on paper.

All signed and sealed between Callum Powell and the club, contract signed, medical passed, press photo's done and trained with the team today, just needing the NL rubber stamp and it can be announced tomorrow.

Will be available for Saturday. pics to be posted tomorrow.

We’ve signed Ben Barclay on loan for a month. Much needed as Max hunt is out injured for a few months and Luke Wilkinson is made of glass. Any good Stockport fans?

He's been a bit underwhelming as a signing. Was supposed to be part and pretty much the heart of our revamped back three for this season but he wasn't brilliant and under Challinor in particular, he hasn't been favoured. Be good for him to get some football under his belt because he can't make matchday squads at the moment. We don't have any real injuries in defence at the moment and I know it's only a month but I hope we have a recall in there because if a couple go down, he will be needed.

I think we'll have weighed up the pros and cons and decided a months worth of consistent football will be best for him going forward in the season.

Keith Hill is currently trying (and probably going to fail) to keep Scunthorpe in the FL.

How's Gannon doing at yours? Still relying on Oshor Williams and Tommy Sword for goals??

Gannon left a while back mate.

They’ve got some guy called Seb Rusk in charge now.

Dont be so sure of that.
Reckord was a strange contract renewal before the season started and before the manager was in place. He was involved quite a bit at the strat but PP obviously didn't fancy him as Hossanah is a RWB who has been playing there since he came in....I'm not sure what this means for Hossanah, many want him to play on the right instead of RHJ but I don't think he is better. It may be the end for Cam green as anything more than a backup squad filler as well.

I'm happy with the signing as we need to learn from previous mistakes and make sure the squad is ready to finish the season by Tuesday, however, not sure we needed to give this one 2.5 years.

yet we have DJ and the ghost Charlie Trafford taking a wage and not getting near the bench

Jones i know is on the coaching side but he must be chomping at the bit to feature. as for Trafford, i dont think he will ever actually play for us, unless we have already won the league and its a nothing game towards end of the season
