Socks in bulk also have the advantage of never needing to find a pair because they all match.

That's the basis of our transfer policy.

His end product is the worst I've ever seen. He can dribble like Ronaldinho and is absolutely rapid but can't even pass the ball five yards, let alone cross or shoot.

To be fair if he had a decent end product he would still probably be at Barca.

Jefferson Lerma officially, finally, completes a club record transfer of 25m, from Levante. Big money, will the Colombian be the defensive midfield shield we've been crying out for for 3 years? Give all our attacking players more freedom, that's the hope.

23 years old, likes a booking, can also play right back which is really handy and also much needed.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Imagine telling those Bournemouth fans with buckets outside the ground a few years ago you'd be signing a player for £25m. Shows how far you have come since those dark days, fair play to you.

Bournemouth should've signed Ryan Woods for half the price.

Anderlecht defensive midfielder Leander Dendoncker, 23, is due at Compton later today for talks and a medical with a view to joining Wolves for a fee thought to be around £12m.

How in the world are you going to comply with FFP? The premier league regulations are based on wage increase, are they not?

"It is interesting to note that the rules allow a newly promoted club to immediately increase wages to £67m if they wish. So we could, in theory, see a club like Brighton increase their wages from somewhere around £18m (excluding promotion bonuses) to £67m over the summer. Currently, the Championship clubs not in receipt of Parachute Payments only get around £5m in TV revenue - the new TV deal in the Premier League will be worth around £100m from next season. Promoted Clubs could therefore immediately increase wages to £67m and still have plenty of cash to spare in their first season. What could possibly go wrong?"

Fosun have said before that FFP is a "big problem" that hold back their ambition. We complied with it (just about) in the Championship but down there it is based on your finances over a 3 year period. I'm not sure if FFP have different rulings in the PL?

I would be very excited to see how Zinchenko would do in the Wolf Pack.

I'm trying to stay level headed but it's hard not to be excited with this project. Rewind 10 years ago when we were last promoted to the PL we signed a 36 year old Marcus Hanhemann, Serbian mercinary Nenad Milijas and other such players. Now we have signed players like Patricio and Moutinho. Don't think Wolves fans ever dreamt of seeing names such as these grace Molineux.

What are the chances of rounding this off by re-signing Ebanks-Blake?

Huge signing for Manchester City that definitely shouldn't be illegal.

Daniel Arzani joins from the similarly branded Melbourne City, owned by the familiar sounding City Football Group. He's going to Celtic on loan. All totally legitimate, all above board. Good for football.

I'd temper expectations on Moutinho and Patricio, one is joining on the wind down of his career and the other isn't all that, but Zinchenko is a signing that could become a mainstay for years to come. More excited for him, Traore and keeping Neves/Jota than the big names.

You're getting well ahead of yourself. Those players aren't even that good. By saying "would never have dreamt" you're belittling yourselves. Get a grip would be my advice.

Yeah, 2 players who both won the Euro 2016, one with 113 caps arent very good. You're a troll, and a shit one at that.

Eder scored the winning goal of Euro 2016, it's not really a great metric to determine player quality. It's in much the same vein as Djimi Troare having a Champions League winners medal. I think people forget that Portugal were shite for the majority of that tournament, finishing third in their group (behind Hungary and Iceland) and scraping into the semis.

Patricio is a solid keeper, nothing special, good enough for the Premier League but not going to set it alight (as much as a keeper can standout anyway). Portugal are hardly known for their goalkeeping quality. Moutinho was a great footballer, but his powers have waned somewhat since his Porto days and he's the wrong side of 30. Should do well, but relax a bit on the older big names who have signed for the £.

Shame about Zinchenko if he's turned you down, fun player to watch.

Daring to temper your dream team excitement isn't trolling. Spending money on vogue players does not guarantee success and being used as an instrument for financial gain generally results in long term decline. This isn't a Wolves board. Highlighting the obvious pitfalls to this approach is allowed.
