Like with a few of these buybacks they're buying with a view to selling. Most likely to a prem side or they think he's done enough at Milan to create interest that'll add to his value.
Bet a prem side would pay 20 for him.
That will probably be you guys.

I don't think Milan even wanted to sign Deulofeu permanently and they've just brought in Fabio Borini. His stock has fallen right down since Koeman's appointment.

That's another headscratcher with Milan and Borini. They have new owners supposedly bankrolled to the eyeballs, and yet they go in for Borini! Hardly the signing to get Milan back to the top of the European table.

I think it's a weird signing to be honest. Firstly he's a good defender and as a stand alone signing it's not bad at all. However the reason Roma are willing to sell him is because the Manolas to Zenit deal fell through and Roma need to sell to make financial fair play regs. The thing is with Manolas then still being available, and at the same price as Rudiger, Manolas is the superior player in pretty much every aspect. So I don't know why they wouldn't take him rather than the German.

Chelsea have signed that Welsh kid of Exeter who led us to victory shield greatness. Not sure it's the greatest idea joining Chelsea for a youngster but big opportunity for the boy nonetheless.

His father is a coach at Arsenal so surprised they didn't go for him.

Ethan Ampadu is gonna be Wales' answer to Claude Makalele. He often looked like the most experienced player on the pitch at L2 level when he played for us, staggering to think he was only 15/16 at the time.

Strange choice going to Chelsea though.

Any Chelsea fans know what the deal is? BBC just reporting undisclosed...

Jay Rodriguez has signed for WBA.

Three years on from that awful injury and he's only put in two decent performances at this level. It's a shame because he was unplayable under Pochettino with Lambert and Lallana.

Thankfully Saints fans won't have to put up with his father and brother acting like utter prats on social media whenever Jay isn't selected.

He needed a move. Difficult when you're out so long and don't get chosen regularly. Not sure West Brom is the right move as can still see him getting benched there. Think he needed to drop down, play regularly and prove himself again.

It showed how much we rated him when we put him on a new long-term while he was injured.

Unfortunately, he didn't return the same player. Pre-injury he was pure pace and ran at defences. On his return he was about as mobile as Rickie Lambert was without his ability.

Massive shame.

Connor Mahoney signs for Bournemouth for a fee of 250k having run down his Blackburn contract. The 20 year old winger had held talks with Celtic and Nottm Forest among others, but has followed the Josh King path from Ewood Park to Dean Court. I presume this fulfills Howe's obligatory winger signing seemingly every single transfer window. He only broke into the Blackburn side in January this year, so still pretty raw I'd guess.

Never been overly sure about Ince, lots of skill and a turn of the unexpected on his day, but not the sort of player you want in a battle. Which is what the first season is IMHO, a physical and especially psychological battle.

More than a touch of 'Jordon Ibe' about him if you know what I mean.

I think last season with Derby has changed him a lot, especially in a game I watched against us where he chased our wingers back and was probably the best player on the pitch. I think he's come a long way since his last time in the Premier League and hopefully we can see the true Tom Ince with regular football for us this season.

Wagner's system could be interesting for him, he'll certainly need to work and graft in that.

I see you're after Scott Malone as well, he's got a nice left boot. Back when he played for us as a kid I was never sure if he was a full back or wide midfielder. I imagine he's put his party boy days behind him if he's progressed enough to get to this level!

Wouldn't say he's completely at home with his defensive duties but they were much improved, it'll be a step up from chasing Championship left backs though that's for sure. You won't be dishing out that money for him to track back mind, 15 goals and plenty of assists is what he's all about. He's a match winner and has real quality in the final third which is sometimes what that fine line between 17th and 18th is all about.

I hope he does well, class player in the Champ for us, fingers crossed he has a better stint than he did at Hull. He's hungry for another shot, proved by now what looks like him waiving his 12.5% transfer fee claim to get the deal over the line to you guys.

Good deal for all involved.

Steve Mounie confirmed, £11,000,000 rising to £14,000,000.

Most aerial duals won in Ligue1 in France last season scoring 14. Benim international.

The signing I'm most excited about as we haven't had a decent header of the ball in years.

Buy Slimani off us. He's a header king. Its unknown if he actually has feet or just blocks of wood on the end of stilts, but you can find out for 30 mill.
