Cavani will play the match against Chile according to his mother and will not return to Uruguay.

I wish someone would take Cavani off our hands once this is over.

Needed to stop by the thread to say 2 things. First of all, cavani's father was arrested for running over and killing a motorcyclist and is now in doubt for the match against Chile. Second, I'm really nervous for the match in 2 days. We are going to be missing a lot of players and Bolivia will have a real chance of winning the game. I don't have that much confidence this time around. Who would have thought I had confidence against Colombia but not Bolivia?
Bolivia is nowhere near your level mate..They won't be able to cope with your attacking options..I wouldn't worry tbh,but still, surprises are always waiting to happen right?!

Is Cavani's dad that good though? He must be in his 50s.

Is there a better passing side internationally than Chile currently? Stunning stuff...

Excellent game, and an incredibly difficult matchup for Chile. They win this and they're in the final.

Also, Fucile has kept Sanchez very quiet so far.

Chile does not want this going to penalties, Muslera is excellent on them.

Ooof, Uruguay almost sneaked that in there - Chile have to be careful here.

Chile will easily win this tournament if referee's keep helping them every single game. Otherwise, teams like Argentina will easily beat Chile.

Fuck off. I don't even want to imagine Chile in the final. Looks like its up to us to stop Chile. If we can get past Bolivia first that is.

That decision for Fucile at the end was a complete joke. Perfectly clean tackle, not even a foul, never mind a yellow. Joke.

As expected Chile advanced but Uruguay wasn't bad.

And what a mean thing that happened with Cavani. Also Jara is such an actor...

We are a far superior team. However, I know Peru very well and that we get confident against the weaker teams and end up losing. Bolivia already beat Ecuador so they can certainly beat us.

I think we will win, but I'm still worried about the match.

He should sign for Liverpool with antics like that.

I must say I was expecting something a little more extreme when I read the headline "Uruguay star Edinson Cavani sent off for slapping Chile defender who 'inserted finger into his anus'".

The way the things are going we would sign him even if United wanted him :D

If you beat us to one more world class signing like Ings, Bogdan or Milner I might just have to kill myself!

Don't worry I'm sure Ramos is going to sign for you where he can learn sooooo much about defending from Smalling! ;)

If we do manage to get Ramos then we will have made a fantastic signing and you know it.

You know my thoughts on Ramos, he's one of the few Real Madrid players I actually like as a bloke and is absolutely world class; however it'll be like Di Maria all over again, going there and wondering who the hell he is playing with...

I'm surprised you like Ramos to be honest, he's a dirty fucker. If we do sign him I expect a fair few red cards. World class though, as you say.

Di Maria will come good this coming season.

He is a dirty player, but I do like players with an edge tbh, I'm the same with Costa. Plus Ramos can play a bit also; if you stuck him up as centre forward, he'd bag quite a few.
