Works out at about £704,000 per club if evenly distributed - which I doubt it will be.

Spit in the ocean for the likes of Leeds, complete game changer for us bottom feeders.

Wonder who’ll get what.
It was never going to be evenly distributed, the £50m is made up of an advance on the basic award payments, which is different per league, and any interest free loans they are allowed to ask for.

No real surprise, be lucky to finish this season before the next one is due to start.

I’m working from home using video conferencing software, the company should be ok as long as it’s back trading by September after that I’m probably out of a job.

I suppose if you work in non-essential business you'll be off work?

Not been to work since August myself, having had an operation, though as my last job was in a cafe, i would be joining the unemployed ranks in any case.

This lockdown will be difficult for many, i appreciate, but ironically less so for me.
Also saving money, by not betting and not boozing.

Work from home anyway but nobody wants to buy a gym or domiciliary care business at the moment.
We survived the Brexit uncertainty to be killed by a virus named after a bloody lager!!

I work for an industrial painting contractor so we're part of the construction, Network Rail, Highways Agency, Waterworks etc work so business as usual for us. Well, as usual as it is out there. Impossible to work from home. Still plenty going on.

Aside from colleagues obviously, I don't know anyone else who's still at work.

So far, so good. No intensive beds here, no facility to treat it. Had second home owner’s from Athens come in hoping to hunker down and see it off.

Hope none of them brought it in.

I work for jcb.
Currently working from home as I'm field based.
We have however stopped production of all machines and India is now in lock down where 60 per cent of our machines are built.
We will have massive cuts in a month or so.

I have my own limited company working with Law Firms, Banks and Central Government. IR35 legislation has curtailed some work, but I can work from home easily

I work for a 1st tier automotive manufacturer, already up north. Did 2 days at home, preparing for our upcoming ISO/TS audit, and then told we were closed for a month. No orders and no parts to make them with anyway!
At least I don't have to find somewhere to hide from the auditor, he ain't coming and he doesn't know where I live!

I work for Sainsbury's so until Sunday it was business pretty much as usual. However my son's boss went down with the virus at the weekend so I've decided to self isolate for the sake of my colleagues and customers. Providing my son remains symptom free, I'll be back in on Sunday.

Koyo Bearings. We are part of a massive Japanese company called JTEKT. We make and supply wheel bearings to some of the big boys (BMW, Jag and Toyota mainly).
Like yourself, I'm guessing, times are tough. About 10 years back, half of our factory (drive train bearings) disappeared to Romania leaving us with just the higher value stuff, shedding a good chunk of jobs with it.
Good luck with the future and stay well above all else.

Some people are being over optimistic that there will be a next season.
