it's bad enough bickering over coronavirus or even football when there was some
perhaps you take your bickering over politics here
http://www.theconferenceforum.co.uk/
if you want a little football in it

Then what's the point of a messageboard if we all agree on stuff?

It's about time this forum came into life - yeah we're stuck at home, we're all fucked off some way or another so I'll put it out there, I don't mind pineapple on pizza.

No one should be feeling they cannot get out for a bit of exercise unless they actually just cannot do that or aren't that bothered.

I know people who walk miles a day and even run/cycle but most of them are people who do regular exercise anyway.

Talking about people with babies/kids/youngsters/over 60s/70s etc.

Unless your very vulnerable there shouldn't be an issue.
I would love to be able to exercise, as i finding that i am putting on the weight i lost, when i nearly pegged it last September. I have only left my house for about half an hour since March 19th!!! Seriously fucking bored now.

What with all this spare time on their hands, have Barrow developed a vaccine for Coronavirus yet?

Sorry to hear that - hope you are well.

Naturally there will be vulnerable people who cannot not enjoy such luxury.

Better thanks SH. At least the Gills weren't stressing me out by being in a relegation scrap (again!)

The massive Glaxo Smithkline plant 8 miles away from Barrow (in Ulverston) are no doubt working on it at present...

Why would that be good news? Are you one of those miserable, moaning old men? Take no joy in anything other than complaining

Yes, because like your bankrolled tinpot outfit, it is a crock of shit, like every other talent or reality show. The 'contestants' would be considered thick on TOWIE ffs.

Also, any programme that begins with 'The Great.........' definitely isn't.

It's what boredom does to someone, comment on things you wouldn't normally give a toss about.

You’re just an over entitled old person, because you bought a house at a time when simple things like those were affordable.

Stop hitting out at a younger generation who are literally keeping you elderly ones alive, it would be better if you could be respectful.

And for the love of God, stop reading the Daily Mail.

FYI PuB

I don't own my own house, i am out of work due to having a near fatal health scare, from which i have very limited mobility 8 months on, and i am only 55 ffs!!!

Because of this, i have only left the property i live in, once since 19th March (sure i wrote that down earlier in the thread btw)

It is mainly the younger generation who have been flouting the social distancing regulations, because they seem to think they are indestructible, they are the ones who think they have a sense of entitlement.

In other words, don't make assumptions

If you rarely leave the house, how do you know it’s ‘mainly the younger generation flouting the social distancing regulations’?

Because the daily mail et al tell him what to think

The words "sense of entitlement" coming from a bloke in his fifties as he continues to slate a generation who have and will be most impacted economically by the lockdown, who have the least to lose health wise.
Remarkable.

As someone who works night shift in a petrol station/garage I can tell you 1st hand that one of the main groups flouting the rules are the 18-30 age group - shouldn't be out, are out and always several from different households in each others cars...
The Daily Mail is trash by the way - nobody should ever read it - or the guardian or mirror or sun etc....

Round my way it is tools squeezed into lycra, on expensive bikes panting and puffing their way through town's and villages on their tour de Covid.
I know which I find more forgiveable. I also know which is easier for the public to get outraged about....
