Stockport County.
I'm praying something happens that's gives us some sort of reprieve. I mean how many times did aldershot get saved.
One thing is for sure, as a club we are absolutely despised. Read twitter and it's just constant abuse. 90% of them are stockport fans like but still. We are hated
Ebbsfleet would get saved before you surely?

But I do get the impression they're trying to save somebody. They don't seem keen to name the other 2 teams that would be relegated. It's hard for them to work around the fact its Fylde and Ebbsfleet. But who knows with the national league.

I don’t really have an issue with your fans but your loathsome Hypocrite of a chairman on the other hand needs a relegation to bring him down a peg or two.

To have that budget and be pre-season favourites and manage to go down is quite an achievement.

It’s also a nice, now we have some investment of our own, to know you won’t be able to take away our players anymore.

We've just set up a fundraiser to try and raise £20k to help towards some of the playoffs costs with the club paying the rest. I presume that means it will be minimum £50k in costs for teams involved based on that figure

I know. What the hell has gone on this season. How can you be favourites and get relegated. Astonishing

Any club finish in bottom 4 should be relegated every season, never mind a reprieve and that includes Aldershot last season.Your bottom league for a reason.

If it helps you any we were one of the favourites in league 2 and finished 21st

Thankfully that equation doesn’t equate to relegation however

We got relegated as actual pre-season title favourites last season, that was fun.

It tipped Fylde to win the NL this season and Aldershot last season and both finished in the bottom 4 - so if you don't get promoted tell me who you need me to tip next season....

Yep. They won quite a few AGM Cups.

Looks like Maidenhead will be lifting it this year.
and Ebbsfleet too if Macc come down and end up in NLN like Boston did in 2007 when they were financially dodgy...

All of our players and staff were tested today and we’re back in training on Monday, clearly been preparing for it.

couldn’t agree more, we were toilet last year and not much better this. If the season had run it’s course I think it would have been us and Maidenhead that would have gone not Ebbsfleet and Fylde.

Judging by recent comments from them there's a few Wrexham fans who think they might have beaten you to a bottom 3 place had the season completed.

The last time we played Barnet we lost 5-1 at Underhill and 6-0 at Lower Mead, both stadiums no longer there.

i will get in early. Our ground will be the worst in the division by a country mile. When we took over the Vale it was a ramshackle dump, with a bus shelter at one end and a main stand that was kept together with sticky tape. It’s a tidy arena now with both ends covered and more developments happening this summer to make the watching experience more enjoyable. The covered stand at one end of the ground was built by supporters.

Not 100% sure where away fans will go. We have moved them around the ground when rarely segregation has been needed. We have settled with sticking them on an uncovered side at the moment.

Our bar facilities are excellent if away fans are allowed in.

Fanbase is growing . Quite uniquely you are likely to see more brown and black faces at our games, far more than the hipster and right on clubs, than any other non league club despite having a reputation for being a club of “lads” or “geezers” as fans. We had our largest average home attendances since 1974/75 season. Our away support has always been good, regardless of how well we are playing, though, unsurprisingly, last season this went up to another level. We have the biggest away support in the NLS by far.

i know Aberstone said that some will boycott the Barnet game, I am not sure that will amount to too many. The game at PEPF should be some event if fans are allowed. What’s the betting the game is played when supporters aren’t allowed in.

When we left the Conference back in 1988, none of us could have imagined it would have taken us 32 years, lost our stadium, saw another one partly finished before the developers went bust and our council shafted us, five ground shares, been close to bankruptcy on more than one occasions et al.

And now, we could be playing Notts County in a league match. It’s been a journey.

Nice bit of trolling of Fylde and their 2022 promise by the Barrow commercial side...

Congrats mate, for what it's worth you have been the best team all season I reckon (out of a pretty poor bunch admittedly). Can't imagine what it must feel like to get promotion to be honest.
What's a promotion?

I wouldn't read too much into that. Some of our fans absolutely revel in how shit we are, but pay no attention to the rest of the league.

Honestly, I am of the opinion that we could have gone down. We were out of form and had a difficult schedule ahead, while Ebbsfleet were in very good form. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that we could have gone down.

Thankfully, we were handed a lifeline with the season ending so all that matters is we managed to stay up. Serious changes are needed ahead of next season as 20th is far from acceptable. The boardroom needs a shake-up and it is finally time to relieve ourselves of our seemingly untouchable first team coach.

Congratulations on your promotion(coming from a Barnet fan) It will be good to renew our rivalary on the pitch, but not on the terraces as in the past and a generation has moved on now. A lot has been documented about PEPF which basically boils down to a project you couldn't in the end afford, and Harrow council knowing Barnet needed a new site, offered them it to stop it laying derelict and prevent the Gypsy's from taking up residence. Your fan base is growing while ours is decreasing, and unless our fortunes improve greatly, along with club/customer relations, you will have the bragging rights shortly. Look forward to seeing you at the Hive, and hope you enjoy the best away end for fans in non league football.

I think King's Lynn might be up there in that category too and will certainly be an eye opener for many at NL level - we don't have any covered areas at either end so you are ahead of us in some areas. That said, I have just had a look at your ground on Google maps, I was worried about our floodlights but looks like you will also have concerns in there.

Big away followings last year caused some issues and we moved the area for away fans mid season but big gates vs Boston and York following the change showed what we had was still pretty inadequate for a big gate at step 2, let alone step 1. For segregated games the bar area was off limits and although it was spruced up last off season really isn't anything to write home about.

Maybe if it's home fans only (when fans are actually allowed to attend) it won't be as much of an issue for either of us?

Kings Lynn and York or Boston would be good additions for us, and specifically me.

Less enthused about the potential southern recruits.

You've missed us off in this. Won our last 2 and still had to play chorley, maidenhead and ebbsfleet. In fact the more I think about it. We've been fucking robbed. 3 behind ebbsfleet with 2 games in hand.
