For Tonbridge Angels to get 30k per month on their crowds of 600 must have felt like Christmas to them but for Hungerford Town to get 30k per month on their crowds of just over 300 it must feel like Christmas, New Year and Easter all at once.

Damnnnn the Conny Sarf BEEF!
I knew it was only a matter of time before he posted something, he loves a good rant does our owner.

don't expect these lines will go down well with our chairman :)
It's well known our owners don't get on well with old Jimbo, so I'm not at all surprised to see him have a dig. I see Jim has now been on the radio moaning about the comments and demanded our owners give a public apology :lol:

So after all our test results we have 9 players and staff testing positive.
Good job we called off Saturday. Maybe that will get to some of those Hartlepool fans on twitter saying we were a joke.
Not sure how we can play on Saturday. Don’t think that leaves us with 11

With other countries putting up a ban on outdoor gatherings over a certain number (around 500 usually), surely a ban on supporters at certain games in this league is just around the corner due to the outbreak of Covid-19. What would this mean for your club?

I understand that the likes of Boreham Wood, Ebbsfleet and Halifax will be unaffected.
I can't understand it tbh. All our kids are in school?!

Well Notts are out of the FA Cup and miss the next 2 league games. As 2 more positive Rona cases added to the 4 others.

Shite news. Can only see this type of thing getting worse and worse throughout the season sadly.

Also postponed our next two league games. Obviously not ideal, but just hope everyone’s alright and not passed it on to anyone more vulnerable.

I think we tried to do the right thing last weekend, but in hindsight we really shouldn’t have played.

The club have made it clear that we still intend to play the game, even with the U18s if necessary.

The same U18s who lost 7-0 to Uxbridge in the FA Youth Cup a few weeks ago.

You can still get 9/2 on Leiston with Paddy Power...

Plenty of reasons we shouldn’t have played. The threat of infection to ourselves, Maidenhead (not sure there is a great coincidence that Alty, then us, then Barnet came down with it after we played them in successive games), officials, and anyone else, and the complete waste of three points (all that guff about ‘that’s what a squad is for/we should be beating Maidenhead anyway).

Fairly interesting stuff from Ardley today on our outbreak. We’re ‘90% sure’ that the first one of our players to get it caught it during a match (presumably vs Altrincham, maybe vs Barnet), and that the only reason we’ve picked it up is because we’re funding regular testing off our own backs. Sounds like we tried to make the case for some of the bailout money to go towards mandatory testing throughout the league.

Would be surprised if this doesn’t happen to every team at some stage this season.

I don't think any owners should be sitting on a league board whether it's the EFL or NL. They should all be independent people so there's no bias there.

We’re the latest to come out as extremely pissed off with the allocation. Whole statement is worth a read actually, our communication is astonishingly good since the Reedtz brothers took over. Still not really used to it.

Of course he has... good luck with that however.

Maidstone remaining FT over the summer just looks even more insane given the ramifications involved with doing so.

We're not technically full time, just train 3 mornings a week rather than evenings (due to pitch hire). More like a 3/4 time bodge job.

There was me thinking non league teams were meant to enforce social distancing......this is ridiculous that clubs with bigger stadiums aren't even allowed 600-1000 people spaced out yet this type of thing is allowed to happen.

No attempt at social distancing there, they've just let the max number into the ground and let them get on with it.

We’ve rearranged our game at Aldershot for FA Cup first round day, so that’s now our next game. Presumably we’ve not had any more cases, which is good, and also means that we don’t have to play Stockport without having had a match in nearly a month.

So in the FA Trophy. Ilkeston have potentially forfeited their place in the comp because Rushden and Diamonds havent. I cant recall a situation so far where the infected club has been the one to progress..

The cynic in me says they had had a good run in the FA Cup and are looking for any excuse to concentrate on the league campaign

Great news about the game being off (not the positive tests).

If they can rearrange it for February that'd be swell.
