I've been meaning to start this for a while after Aber Gas 'fessed up to being a walking cliché. I finally got a picture of this little beauty from a 20 year old I know.

"While serving as a Royal Marine in Afghanistan, Andy Grant lost his leg after standing on a mine.

Six years on, not only has the 26-year-old learnt how to walk, he won a couple of gold medals at the recent Invictus Games.

While having his leg amputated, Andy lost the word 'alone' from his 'You'll never walk alone' tattoo by his knee."

The OP pic isn't showing up for me :( But remember the conversation in the box.

Love looking at tattoos, some of the work people have done is amazing.

That's a shame, it's awful. I'll try to upload it in another format when I get the chance.

I have three masterpieces on my body. Have always taken great pleasure at seeing how narrow minded some people are when it comes to tats

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Not small minded at all. Some can be very personal and all that. I just always wonder whether the guy with a spiderweb on his face will be happy with it at 50.

Same with ear stretching. Might think it looks cool now, but, you know....

If you've got a spiderweb on your face you've made a decision about life so I don't think you'd be that bothered at 50 tbh.
I've got stretched ears though they have receded a bit and I quite like them #cliche :bg:

Yeah, I know what you mean and I fully agree with you. But I wasn't referring to you guys, or those who simply don't like tattoos, as after all it's a matter of taste and I understand this completely. It's those people who stare at an inked person for hours that irritate me. Or those who think that only someone with a low IQ will get inked.

FWIW, I think there is a limit when it comes to tats. For ex, I will never ever ink my neck.

I think it depends what your job is really as there is still a lot of stereotyping when it comes to tats. I'd never, ever get one that was visible in work clothes. As I'm unlikely to make it as an underwear model that still leaves enough room for me

Oh bless em, I had some terrible ones removed. That was painful

Tattoo removal Aber? Bet that hurts ;)

I'm curious as to how many months it takes for a tat to vanish/fade after laser treatment. Or will it still be (barely)visible? Not that I'm thinking of doing it but still, you never know.

Mine were home made with Indian ink so a bit easier to remove. It was also a long time ago so I think the technology has moved on a bit. There's no outline left on them just a bit of scarring but yeah it did hurt.

I've got a Maori 'ta moko' inspired sleeve design on my right arm. It means a lot to me as an individual and is a reminder and symbol of a very important time in my life (gap year). Sad to see so many pathetic people on here rushing to judgement and mockery, especially when their lives are obviously so sad and boring.

Never seen the appeal of tattoos unless you were from a South American tribe or in the Armed Forces. Why the fuck would I want a tattoo on my body when I'm already a hunk!?! :D

Football related tattoos have to be RIGHT UP THERE. This kinda nonsense seems to happen all too frequently...

And then there's Jay Bothroyd - being this sharp a shooter earns you an England cap!!!

And Nile Ranger is thankfully no longer in any danger of forgetting who he is...
