Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
I've got a Maori 'ta moko' inspired sleeve design on my right arm. It means a lot to me as an individual and is a reminder and symbol of a very important time in my life (gap year). Sad to see so many pathetic people on here rushing to judgement and mockery, especially when their lives are obviously so sad and boring.

I have 9 tattoos and haven't finished yet,my favourite is a celtic cross with a skull in the centre with an evil looking grin plus the words Geoff at the top and RIP brother at the bottom, the tattoo works well as it fits him perfectly. All my tats are on my arms as i don't see the point in having them covered by clothes.

I've got our badge on my right leg. No idea why but it looks decent enough, aside from the fact it's Mansfield Town.

Been looking at this for the last week or so and may have it. I'm 75% leaning towards yes now.

Silkyman's covered one of the reasons why it's highly unlikely that I'd ever get a tattoo, they just don't look right on a wrinkly old man. Then there's the possible regret in future years and also there's nothing that I feel I need to portray on my body.

One of my Granddaughters (I have 5) decided to get 1 discreet tattoo on her left arm a couple of years ago when she turned 21, two years on and her left arm from shoulder to her wrist is now completely covered with these ink monstrosities, fortunately my other Granddaughters are not impressed with her so called 'works of art'

Agreed with all this. Even the simplest, smallest things I could see regretting. I remember a friend finding out a local tattooist was doing a selection of drawings for £13 one Friday 13th and she went out that day having seen the pre-made cartoons a few hours before and had it done on her body for the rest of her life. I can't understand that for the life of me, thought she was joking at the time.

I honestly wouldn't even have the conviction for some Halifax Town-related doodle. What if a future board to an MK Dons or a Vision on us? What if I grow up before I die?

It's a beautiful piece Rich, but if you go for it, do not just copy it. Tell the artist to change some aspects of the design, like different shading for ex, as there's nothing worse than two guys having the same tattoo. Yes, even if one guy lives in Papua New Guinea and the other in Iceland.

And the old adage of make sure to go to someone reputable as that stag looks impressive and is obviously a lot more complicated than a lot of tattoos

Yeah, I've no objection to tattoos but can't imagine I'll ever want anything indelibly inked into my skin. If a particular design really takes my fancy I reckon I *might* explore the possibility of purchasing some TASTEFUL WALLPAPER

I absolutely hate tattoos on women.

Many a good porn film ruined by the sight of these!

Apparently she once had an accident at the in-laws and decided to commemorate it with a tattoo...

You are wrong. Sorry mate but that is possibly the most misguided statement I've ever seen on the Internet :dis:

I find women with tattoos sexy as long as they're not on neck or hands.

Sorry but I'll have to stick with my statement. Women should look like women, not like blokes with curves.
