His distribution was shocking, so many misplaced passes giving away possession. A long way short of his best.
I see Coddington has made a few errors for you. He was really good when here, but how has he been overall for you. Most of our fans would love to see him back here next season.

He's obviously had far more action with us than with you given what he has in front of him. He's a decent shot stopper, fails to attempt to take crosses, he's dropped a few balls at the feet of the opposition leaking goals and his distribution is average. Jonnie Maxted is the best we've ever had so Coddington had a lot to live up to. Jonnie will of course now be in league one next season with Accrington.

He has another year so you would need to match his wages and pay us a fee, £200k yeah?

You are in no position to demand more than nominal fees

More sour grapes from a orient fans yous just wont let it go. Whats your manager on roughly?

Ah, I get it. You’re allowed to comment on other teams spending beyond their means, but when someone else points it out about your club, it’s sour grapes? Righto.

Ps. No idea. Something we can afford, I’d imagine.

No, we’ve been run dreadfully, which is a) why I know all about it and b) why we’re stuck in a division with tinpot hobby clubs who will go pop as soon as the money gets pulled.

We’re arranging pre season friendlies and post opponents for next season, sure if there was any doubt then we would not be doing such things.

I can see us tightening the ship next year could even see half a youth team out there if we can shift the remaining contracts.

I'm not so sure. I mean you need to present a public face of everything being good, or at least not in doubt in order to attract/keep sponsors - a very important revenue stream especially over the summer

John Still has resigned as manager of #Daggers. News confirmed at meeting updating fans on financial situation.

I reckon he'll end up at Barnet.
Ashame but he's effectively given up his 6 figure wage to help save us basically.

I take it this means your whole first team squad is going to leave as well? :dk:

Couldn't he have just taken a cut? I mean, he's not going find anyone who'll give him that kind of money?

Sad to see what’s happening to the Daggers over what seems to have been brought about by something fairly petty/the legendarily thin skin of a rich person being criticised by normal people.

Still, if Orient can add one of Cheek or Fejiri Whatshisname (or both if I’m being greedy) to the already-poached Sam Ling I’ll be delighted.

Well a lot are contracted until 2019 and we can’t afford to pay them off so unless other clubs come in and take them off our hands, it’ll be whoever is still here plus the youth team I imagine. On the plus side, we had a good academy side last season and 2-3 of our youngsters have already featured so there is that.

We will definitely be one of the favourites to go down though. I’m already gearing up for the relegation battle.

On another note, I’d personally be looking at Gary Hill coming in providing he doesn’t want too much in wages.

Wouldn’t worry too much - Barrow, Gateshead and Chesterfield have already got three of the spots locked up. You’ve just got to finish above Braintree.

Hill worked on a shoestring at Woking and still lives in Essex I believe, you could do alot worse!

He got us to 7th on a widely reported £50k playing budget. But his finest achievement was taking the piss out of Danny Cowley’s nose in a post match interview.

And calling Matt Rhead a dog, mid sentence as he walked past, in the same interview.

He did well with us in his first spell. Went a bit stale by the end but he was only a cheating Boston away from promotion and a Donny golden goal the following year. I’d take him in an instant.

Failing that, Micah Hyde has done excellent with the youth team

Wow what a 24 hours, where do you even start to dissect the meeting from last night.

We need £150K to pay wages until end of June, we need to then offload others may even get a fee for a couple certainly Fejiri which would help massively. The next 12 months for us is about stabilising the club when we can reset the whole thing and start again.

Still leaving the way he did leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Peter Taylor appointed as our new manager with Terry Harris assistant.

Happy with that. Nothing spectacular but we just need a stable season truth be told.

Be prepared for tedious football and he'll fall out with all of your strikers.

Unless I’ve missed something, they have arguably one of the best strikers in the league.

I'd imagine that he is available for a knock-down price as are the other members of the Daggers squad who are still here.

Two strikers, Cheek and Fejiri O. We need to offload Cheek and his £1200 a week wage ASAP. Fejiri will be sold for sure, at least a league two side.
