Apparently McCann was always wanting to bring in his own number 2 so Strachan decided to leave, not pushed just didn’t want to be just a coach.

Six points outside with 2 games in hand and a 40% win ratio, a definite improvement on Dickov.
I like most Donny fans are underwhelmed by his appointment however no one sets out to fail so he will get my backing. All he needs to do is improve the style of play, bring some excitement although it sounds unlikely.

Didn’t you finish further away from the play-offs than you were when he was sacked? And he had two games in hand when sacked.
