Have they bought any attackers? Can't do much worse than scoring three less than second bottom.

Done is done officially. After reading Rochdale fans views on him I'm slightly happier with his signing than I was, some of them reckon he's been their best player this season.

How has Lyle Taylor being doing for you Scunny?
I like him. He was horrible at the start under Wilcox but since Robins came in he played well in the lone striker role and held the ball up well for the wingers so they could play off him. Sad to see him go.

No, Done's got 10 this season (and 8 assists) in the league so hopefully he can carry that on in similar vain and it'll free Murphy up to play upfront who it could be argued is our best finisher. Done/JCR/Flynn supplying Murphy/McNulty from the wings and Brayford/Harris from full back should be enough to see us into the play-offs at least.

Was a bit of an enigma for us, had some decent games (most notably away to Coventry) off the bench for us but when he started he was largely ineffective.

Keith Andrews confirmed on loan until the end of the season- that could be cracking for us.

MK are the Arsenal of League One. Double the amount of attacking midfielders as defenders.

Think Sheff U have only bought done to hamper our playoff chances, don't think they even need him.

Get a grip were building a squad capable of kicking on if we get promoted instead of just going up and struggling at least thats what i make of it

If we keep hold of Luongo and Kasim until the end of the season I'd be delighted. I can't believe we've turned down multi million pound bids. We never do that; we're little old Swindon.

Chairman really going for promotion then....

This ties in with what Keith Hill has said - Sheff U had made a couple of previous bids for Matty, A potential replacement (Febian Brandy) was brought in a few weeks ago and in view of the potential and/or improvement shown by Calvin Andrew, Callum Camps, Joe Bunney and Joel Logan, and in view of the fact that Sheff U can obviously offer far better wages than us, it was decided not to stand in Matty's way if a suitable fee could be negotiated.

I personally think both clubs have handled the deal with a certain amount of class.

Good luck, Matty - except against us!

Agreed Keeping Kasim and Massimo until the end of the season is a real statement of intent by Power who could have cashed in, having them both Saturday after a month away will be like 2 new signings:woo:

We'll take Kasim in the summer as back up to Smith. Luongo is a little bit too good.

Another overhyped, dull January Transfer Deadline Day out of the way - now, back to promotion..

What an uninspiring deadline day generally in all leagues.

MK Dons and Sheffield United made a good signing each. Swindon hung on to all their players. Good window for all those.

Not seen anything else too exciting. We will be using the loan market at end of month I think.

Bye bye Dele

We signed him on loan. Seems like quite a good young player from what I have seen.

Best transfer window we have ever had. We kept all of our players apart from Afobe, got a good wad of cash for Alli whilst still retaining his services and brought in Clarke-Harris, Cole and Andrews on loan :D

A fit and firing Rhys Murphy should be a hit for Oldham...just need to get him fully fit again after a fairly long time out. Hope he does well for them.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Sam Johnstone, Daniel Johnson and Callum Robinson isn't a bad window on the face of it.

But we still failed to strengthen up front sufficiently during Garner's absence and we're still without that commanding midfielder we've been crying out for since last season.

if the fees of 1.5mill for Brayford and 600k for Done are accurate along with any fees payed for Freeman and Coutts and not selling anyone I'm starting to question if this is the same Sheffield United

Think the Brayford fee is weighted with add ons, the Done fee is about right mind, the cup runs have certainly helped finance the former.

id hope it was waited with addons tbf. Either way it's the kind of money we couldve done with spending in summer really but very unlike us still. Especially tieing our best player down to a longer contract as opposed to selling him.

It's been a good, and unusual window for both Sheffield clubs

Rochdale are as good as anyone in the lower leagues for finding unwanted/ unknown players, getting them back on track and selling them for a nice sum.

Lambert, Holt, Dawson, O'Grady, Hogan, Done, Le Fondre....

They must be one of the few clubs to make a profit each year, surely?

To be fair, Le Fondre had been banging them in for Stockport for ages before Rochdale got him

Going unscathed and strengthening our midfield depth with Swift is a great window by all accounts. Having Kasim and Luongo back now is like new signings.
