One of the lads I play with has just shelled out about 150 strange coins on them. I rarely bother with it cos Crota is the only place you really need it and I just do the glitch.

Been announced that the Weekly Heroic strike will have matchmaking coming before the end of the month

Having to all empty your weapons before doing a run - I will have 70 strange coins after tomorrow. Still having 270 Heavy ammo synthesis packs.

With a fatebringer and shotgun, it's not much hassle, but I suppose if you're using an assault rifle and fusion rifle it's a ballache.

Ah matchmaking will be fun. I only have two friends who play the game on 360 with me so if I can't get it organised with them I end up missing the weeklies.

Hunter: The 4th Horseman, Which I have and don't want.
Warlock: Nothing! So had to run it again and was given a legendary special weapon engram which turned into 2 shards.

our sword bearer blames us for not bringing him down quick enough. He dies and we end up wasting a number of heavy ammo.

Your sword bearer should be giving you the signal to fire (once he's on the rock ledge to the left or right of Crota) and then it's only 1 rocket a piece. Less if you have GHorns.

Got really annoyed by the maintenance. 3 hours down time when its at its peak in the UK.
Back to our sword bearer - he does but, when on hard mode, he keeps getting killed running back from crota - even with a Titans bubble.

And he's an arrogant SOB.

Japanese guy on Reddit has been leaking some upcoming Destiny content. Also, nailed the Nightfall 3 days before it started. He's a data miner and also know what Xur is bringing to the table in advance. Bungie are not too happy.

Yeah that Megamanexe guy. He's leaked that the Reef will become a new social area like the tower, presumably for all HoW content. He's also said next iron banner with have lvl 36 boots and chest, and will sell Jolders hammer and Silimars wrath. He's also apparently checked out Xurs future stocklist and Gjallahorn doesn't feature in it. He's said that the stocklist is predetermined, which is in conflict with what Bungie say as they say it's RnG the same as drops.

Now that last one could well be a sort of double bluff, because when there were a shitload of rumours circulating that Xur would no longer sell either Icebreaker or GHorn, that same week the Icebreaker was sold. That could be coincidence, but most thought it was bungie putting the rumour mill to bed. The same could be done again in an act to discredit megamanexe, which in turn then gives most people an item they want. Be interesting to see what happens there.

Yeah he said Gjallahorn is not in the Xur loot table which means Bungie took it out. He's a clever bloke, the screenshots he uploads he doles so without exposing who he is, so Bungie can't ban him.

I now only need Red Death to have every exotic piece thanks to Xur selling the Remote and the only armour I didn't have.

I got Destiny a couple of weeks ago and I've managed to get to Level 26. All my gear is rare bar a couple of legendaries. Basically I'm wondering where I go from here? What's the best way to get better shit? I've got the Expansion btw if that's relevant. Cheers.

I would do the stike playlist unless you know a couple of people (level 30+) you can join on a nightfall and basically save up your vanguard marks.

Then buy legendary armour from the vanguard leaders. Upgrade it and that will get you to level 31. When you are level 29-31 you can do the dark below raid, the app is useful for find people to help.
