Need to get back into Destiny soon so will use this new content as an excuse. Always enjoyed the game just always take so long to improve. Feel like i'll forever be lv30..

The horde mode has little objectives embedded into each round.

Makes it pretty tough, but better than finding a corner and keeping smashing the Song of Ir yut.

Doing the story and bounty missions on all 3 characters is a fucking chore though. More looking forward to Trials of Osiris than playing the Prison of Elders. Much prefer PvP.
Got a Dead Orbit Dead Shot Luna auto Scout rifle I'm itching to try out. As well as other new weapons.
Oh I got the Titan Feedback Fence Exotic gauntlets too from a purple engram.

PoE level 28 and 32 are easy.

Yeah my mate and I did 28 and 32 as a two - someone left us both times!

The Cabal boss with the interchangeable shield is the most difficult I have come across.

The thrall knight was easy, there is a place at the back where you can stand on ledge and peak above some cover and let some ice breaker shots off.

Back into this really.

Just played our first card on Trials of Osiris and gone 9-0 so got access to 'The Lighthouse' Social space.

Got a Jewel of Osiris (hand canon) with Arc burn as well as some other bits and the exotic emblem.

Just beware that you have space in your emblem inventory, Trials emblems do not seem to be going to your postmaster. I got a rare and legendary emblem in the run up to the 9th win and they weren't at my postmaster so I made space before finishing. One of the guys who did it with us didn't get his exotic emblem.

Yeah bungie were late at addressing this issue and alot of people missed out.

I've done the PoE (level 34) a few times now, no great loot. Will have to give 35 a go. Takes 33 Gjallahorn rockets to take Skolas down

Keep doing 34 and 35 for a chance of an exotic bounty drop. No keys needed.

Gone 9-0 in trials on all 3 characters at the first attempt. Got 3 Jewels, 2 solar 1 arc. You can luck out and get armour from the packages which I'd prefer. Got all 3 special weapons from that.

It's a nice novelty weapon, and it's satisfying to use, especially headshotting players who use blink or are in mid air, but it's no better a choice than any sniper and it uses up your exotic slot. The Lord of Wolves is supposedly very good, and despite the graphic making it look shite, the range is further than Felwinters lie. Still, can't see anything toppling Thorn in ToO. Just need the Bones of Eao now for all the new armour. Peregrine greaves look cool but have to be the most useless pile of shite for an exotic in the game. And I include No Land Beyond in that.

Probably, sounds like it's the biggest update so far? A lot of changes.

Just got back onto Destiny at the weekend after 4 months out, so got a lot of catching up to do. So annoyed that I missed out on Xur's lovely treat this week by 2 strange coins, going to have to do it the hard way.

Also just got the House of Wolves DLC, is there any 'pro strats' that involve the new content from that? I'm still very much stuck in the base game content, not even done Crota's End yet. Despite having a 32 Titan as my main.

much needed update, enjoying PvP again. Mayhem and Rift are really good game modes

yep going to take me a while to get used to the subtle changes of the update. Finally get some more variance in my strikes now on the xbox version, as the first year Playstation levels have been added.

Also was nice that the update seemingly completed my two exotic bounties for me.

Haven't got the DLC yet, and am being put off by the game in general by the fact that it seems this update more than any other really punishes those who don't have the DLC. I feel like there's less content for me to do currently than there was a couple of weeks ago.

Also don't like how irrelevant first year weapons are already. I just picked up a green shotgun that is comfortably better than either of my legendary shotguns I had before.

Not got it. I refuse to pay £40 for an expansion.

It really pisses me off to see the devs and some reviewers say they've finally got the game to where it should have been in the beginning when you consider that means having paid for the original, the first 2 expansions and now an expansion the same price as a full game. So effectively about £100 for a game because they fucked it up in the first place. Given how quickly the content of the prior two expansions got stale, even if the taken king was 5x bigger it'd still turn to shit in about a month. And it's probably not that much larger.

Tbf, there is alot more stuff packed into Destiny now with the taken king.
The new raid is incredible, there is alot more unique weapons in the game and is alot more generous in terms of loot
