Bring Dingles on. Never a dull game with Burnley.

First away game of season. I do think Burnley will go up via the top two. Would be delighted with a point but anything can happen in a derby game. COWY

Fucking hate these twats but i'm expecting them to beat us with ease, they have a very good team these days.

Kevin Friend is the ref, he can fuck off, will never forgive him for that Billy Jones sending off.

I'd be putting Bailey Wright back in for this but no idea who I would replace, Callum Woods might be back in contention too.

Imagine it will be the same team other than that.

Hoping Joe Garner is in top elbowing/ diving form.

Always seem to produce memorable games when we play Preston. Hopefully this one is memorable for the right reasons.

3-0.

Bailey is still suspended isn't he?

Always remember the day Ricardo Fuller raped David May with a hat trick at Deepdale in the 5-3 thriller. Fkn hate Burnley

What a game that was, pre-injury Fuller was unbelievable.

That 2-0 win at Turf Moor stands out as a great win as well, when Nugent scored that volley on the turn after Alexander dinked a freekick into the box.

Oh and the 1-0 at Deepdale when Eddie Lewis was fouled off the pitch and we were awarded a penalty :fing:

Had plenty of bad days against these lot as well though, i'll always despise Robbie Blake and Glen Little and that fucking Proclaimers song.

The worst one for me was the 4-3 at Turf Moor that you mentioned yesterday. Kevinf Friend the utter cuntstick. Their first goal shouldn't have stood as the ball hit Josh King who was receiving treatment on the sideline and then he sent Billy off for fuck all.

Also, the 3-2 at their place when we scored twice late on, Whaley and Sedgwick I think. Great day. Edit: Whaley scored the winner and they had 2 men sent off

Robbie Blake loved a goal against Preston, rolling back the years when they had him and Ian Moore up top. Think you had Richard Cresswell and David Healy back then, two decent strike partnerships they were.

I liked the days when we had Michael Jackson in defence and they had Paul Weller in midfield.

I always remember the game at Deepdale, think we won 3-2 and they hit the bar from the half way line over a back-pedalling David Lucas who ended up on his ass, Robbie Blake ran in, no-one anywhere near him and headed the ball from 8 yards out straight into Lucas' arms on the floor. Absolutely hilarious

Some cracking memories from the Burnley games.

Glenn Little and Moore,Cu*ts.

Last time I went to turf was when Fuller did a flip next to the corner flag, then minutes later got himself sent off infront of a standing ovation from the PNE fans.

What a guy. Greedy as fuck but the most exciting player I've ever seen in a PNE shirt.

Remember that free kick well. Seem to remember Soccer AM showing it a lot. Absolute Genius from Grezza and Nugent. Good era that was

This stands out in my mind as possibly the angriest I've ever been in my life.

I'm not surprised

I genuinely couldn't believe my eyes :D

Edit: Just found the article but I got my facts totally wrong, Burnley won 3-2 and it was Ian Moore who missed the header

I did think we won the game, but at the same time wasn't 100% sure so didn't fancy outright questioning you. Had no idea it was Ian Moore though.

Mind you, I was only about 12 at the time. It's actually one of my earliest memories of supporting Burnley. That and a random match where we beat Canvey Island in the FA Cup. Good times.

For a good 10-12 years this was THE game for both sets of fans.

My first away game of season and I can't wait. Perfect type of game for Joey this to wind them dingles up. Stupidly optimistic about getting something out of this.

Well it looks like I predicted the correct scoreline. Just a shame I got it the wrong way round.

Just seen the goals back. Fucking quality from Garner for the 2nd. What a day though. Thoroughly deserved too after the 2nd half. Pickford's save in the first half was unreal. My voice is fucked. Beers will soothe the pain I'm sure.

GET FUCKING IN! HAVE THAT YOU HORRIBLE DINGLE c***!!!!

Superb from front to back today, they started the game well and had me worried but we settled in and made it a competitive first half. Pickford's save from point blank which landed on the bar was unbelieveable. Second half was as good a counter attacking performance you will see with Will Keane making himself a hero and bagging the first; great individual goal from our point of view but dodgy keeping. They came at us a bit after that but we lapped it up and added a second late on, great play by Garner to set it up and his winding up of their fans was even better.

I've questioned playing Gallagher as a deep midfielder but he was immense today, classy on the ball and won tackle after tackle. Huntington and Clarke were also immense, doubts about them stepping up in pre-season but they were different class today, fucking warriors. Can't fault any of the players though, all worked brilliantly as a unit.

Andre Gray looked like a £6 player rather than £6m and that c*** Joey Barton should have been given a second yellow for his late challenge but the ref completely bottled it.

7 clean sheets in our last 9 games, conceding 3 goals which were a penalty, a direct free kick and an own goal.

Get in Whites!

Didn't see Garners celebration until that pic

Love the lad. What a fkn win. Each and every one of them stuck to the game plan today and every credit to SG for tactically getting it spot on. 7 clean sheets in 9 is ridiculous.

Get Beckford back and sort out our home form and we will be looking up and not back.

Cheers SG for a memorable day at the turf.

Ps F*ck u dingles
