I voted yes because I was in a Weatherspoons a few months ago and this gay lad was trying it on with me....I was very uncomfortable.

Seriously though...gay people don't bother me at all. I seem to unintentionally follow gay pride around the country....they're the best nights out too.

I'd be a tad uncomfortable if my child was gay but only because older generations in my family are religious nuts and being gay doesn't quite follow suit to their imaginary world.

I can vouch for that. Had the exact same thing happen to me. My pals were saying "take it as a compliment" but it just made me feel uneasy. I told the guy more than once to leave me alone but he wouldn't have it. In the end I moved on pubs, but know plenty of lads who would have swung for this guy had they been in the same situation

Pride in London is a pain in the arse (lolz). I was shopping on Oxford Street for my holiday last year (my first mistake) and it was Pride day. Complete mayhem in central London. Couldn't move, couldn't cross the road, couldn't get my shopping done in an efficient manner. And people blowing whistles everywhere.

And that, your honour, is why I don't like gays.

Older generations are a pains especially the religious ones. On my wife's side one set of grandparents are Chrisidelphians or some smeg, and they're the only ones that don't know the brother in law is gay, somehow they believe he just goes everywhere with his flat mate and his flat mate is also an uncle to the kids haha.

Doesn't bother me. Both of my Mum's best friends children are gay but you wouldn't know it (I went through school with the older one, my sister went through school with the younger one, went on family holidays etc).

He came back to Lincoln from Uni for his birthday a few years back and unbeknown to him, a few of his gay mates rocked up as a surprise. One of them was wearing all leather, had a pink mohawk and was extremely 'in your face' gay. Lady Gaga came on in this bar we were in and he jumped straight up onto the bar doing slut drops and everything. Big Gaga fan apparently.

That's when it gets a bit awkward but he'd had a few gin and tonics.

wow u must have a lot of experience with 'the gays'
Not really. He didn't 'come out' until he was 17 (now 24) and she had boyfriends up until 23 (now 27) and is adamant she's gay and not bi.

By that time, the school time/holidays etc had ended and you all go in different directions for jobs/Uni.

Can't help but laugh at the use of the phrase 'the gays'.

Like all gay people are part of a club. GAYCLUB.

Really not that arsed really. A guy gave me his email address once when I worked a funeral he was at. Said I can email him if I wanted to. What a wanted to do was put it in the bin, so I did.

I know a few gay guys and they're sound, not once have they tried to tickle my taint, nor have they been the annoying loud, brash girly gay that gets irritating.

Anyone who is against being gay is just a bit of a c*** really.

That's just 'not liking annoying people'.

If I'm in the pub I'd get annoyed by the cackling gaggle of middle aged haridens, just as much as the loud braying group of 'lads' and as much as anything else. I

Genuinely don't mind. It's gotten to the point where for the vast majority it's something they don't even notice. I think my generation (mid 20's) have had a massive hand in that as we are more liberal than any other.

Work with a gay guy who fancies me. Doesn't bother me. Apparently, a lot of gay men have a 'straight man' fantasy.

I'm mid 30's (Or 72 if you ask Rammy or Harvs )
My generation was never remotely homophobic either, or at least around where I live. Quite a few of my schoolmates were openly gay and never had any bother at school or out of school.

Live and let live, why is it even an issue for some people?

If a gay bloke came onto me I'd politely rebuff him but would also consider it a compliment fwiw.

The extremely camp ones, let's use say Louis Spence as an example, I just find them quite funny tbh. They want to flaunt it, why not? It's only the same as what most women do every weekend.

Would genuinely rather hang around with a man who was outrageously camp rather than an outragelously heterosexual man. They are the worst.
Couldn't agree more tbh.
