37% of those arrested have been released this year without charge; last year it was 67% that were released. But good for the police in stepping up their intelligence and increasing their effectiveness in ridding us of the terrorist scourge.

Most of the attackers were white males. Fortunately in many of these attacks, your oft-quoted "ordinary people" intervened to protect the victims.

Indeed, between July 2014 and July 2015, there were 816 unprovoked attacks on Muslims in London alone.

You suggested earlier that we all chill (after, in fact, most of us had already chilled and were mocking you for your racist kebab shop owners = terrorists meme).

Perhaps if you could recognise that many are working hard to find real, working solutions that bring communities closer together and defeat terror of all kinds, you might then be able to reduce the torrent of abusive Islamophobic shite you spew into this forum. A quick look back through your posts this year sees a variety of xenophobic, homophobic, sexist and racist comments. Try putting your prejudices and nastiness aside just for a short while and see if you feel better trying to find solutions that don't marginalise ordinary people. Hurling divisive, abusive and out of context comments at Muslims is doing exactly what ISIL and other terrorists want: the alienation, victimisation and marginalisation of Muslims.

You've long said that Trump isn't interested in the vacant position of President, and it may have been his original plan to withdraw but some of the recent polls show him with an impressive lead. I suspect he now sees a genuine chance of winning.
