Genuinely pleased for the Dons.
Also it means that we may get more than 799 tickets when we play you again.

You can just have our place once Lewisham council knock down everything but the ground and we're forced off to Dartford or something. Seats are already blue and yellow.

Thought 2nd was Horse-Racing?
This isnt true, I just spent half an hour trying to find out.

Maybe you meant in Wimbledon Stadium where greyhound racing is 2nd behind banger car racing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Utter bollocks. Come and see my 2 ex-racers on the settee. 4,500 are rehomed each year. Wonderful pets.

The vast majority find homes after racing. Sure there are arseholes in the sport but that is true of the population as a whole.

I've spent over 20 years of my life involved with greyhounds, breeding, rearing and racing and finding homes for them.

Congratulations Wombles! Be interesting to see the new place (especially if there's a friendly with Sutton - hint, hint ;))

I know it isn't in the UK but it happens here as well.

You lot seem to be the popular choice amongst our support. It would be fitting.

Great news. How long will it take to build?

Cheers for that, what have we done to upset you (apart from beating you the other week)?

We had hopes of moving in at the beginning of 18/19 season. That was before Boris stuck his oar in though. The dogs were granted a 6 month extension in April, and we've still to iron out S106 agreements (don't ask).

I'm guessing that demolition will start in the new year, and if we have to move in mid-season, so be it.

My grandad raced greyhounds so I know exactly what goes on. I've been taking in ex-racers for years too. I'm looking at one right now.

One or two arseholes don't account for thousands of dead dogs. And that's just the one case we know the full details of. This is the mentality that dominates your 'sport':

Of course, that would never happen now, would it?

Excellent news, any ideas of what the new place will look like yet?

Sorry but while I don't doubt you treat yours well the evidence is out there. Thousands are shot with bolt guns and thrown away. Even recently a wimbledon trainer was banned due to doping etc of the dogs. It is now banned in parts of Australia as a cruel sport. I guess everyone else must be wrong and you know different.
