Plenty of changes for us since last season and the lad who made the biggest contribution on the 2nd May is nowhere to be seen (on account of him being a Col U player )

Nearly always tight between us in our handful of meetings and never many goals, but Preston won comfortably in our last match and looked to have pretty much put us out of the running for second spot.

Expecting it to revert to type and just the odd goal in it. Someone will nick it 1-0. Probably them if we don't sort out defending set pieces.

Used to play for North End's when they first started out when I was about 17, good set up there these days and its a decent standard of football.

This lot have never beaten us so i'm hoping that can continue, Grayson seems to have the edge over that fat, scouse c*** lately and they couldn't cope with our physicality and pressing in our last meeting. Obviously past records mean nothing though and they gave Rotherham a bit of a pasting on Saturday.

Think Beckford is back in contention for this one but i'm not sure if he will start, Bailey Wright came off pretty early last night but I haven't heard anything about him being injured so he should be available. Garner, Welsh, Johnson, Clarke and Gallagher were all rested against Crewe so will make a return for this one.

The biggest problem for us last time we played was Ian McLoughlin was in goal. He's so bad we've released him and he's had one trial, with Bristol Rovers, and even they rejected him.

Even though the much better David Martin will be in goal I still think we will get convincingly beat 3-0. No bother I get £20 of a fellow Dons fan if we lose.

Also Walkey, none of us give a shit that you hate us. Do you seriously think we are bothered about some random blokes from Sheffields view? Why are you getting all mardy in this thread and not the Rotherham one?

I think you are just better than us, we will be stronger in areas we were weaker last season but we are also weaker where we were stronger.

It's about the fact that none of us have seen anything yet to suggest this side is better than the one that finished last season. The jury is very much out on the two strikers (Church & Gallagher) and the man with the task of filling Dele's boots, didn't have the best of games up at Rotherham.

The head to head with you guys is shocking. Tight games in the main, but you've always been the sort of side we've struggled against home or away. Solid defensively, and never leave us gaps to exploit with plenty of pace and power up front to catch us on the break if we do control the possession.

Well it's Preston so it will either be a draw or a 0-1. Probably the last team I would have picked as the first home game. (Sure it's vice versa too as their first away trip)

That game was total rewind to the backend of 2013/2014 where I was attending games knowing we wouln't win. Makes that run we went on even more remarkable really.
