We’re currently 0-0 against Wigan after just over an hour, Wigan currently having the better of it

Finished Gills 1-0 Wigan

We’re up to 6th, albeit having played more games than everyone else

Spot on mate, its how you finish a game and for that matter the season. I think your manager will be allowed a few wry smiles, after all he's been there done it and bought the tee shirt

A draw would have been fair, but like every gills fan I’m delighted with the 3 points.

Blackpool up next on Easter Monday, then Oxford (I think), big games if we are going to start challenging the playoff spaces

If we get through that unbeaten think we have a massive chance of top 6, think it will be to tough and we will fall just short

Definitely a tough ask, but we have had an exceptional March with games coming thick and fast. There’s always one team that seemingly comes from no-where in the latter stages of the season, could it be us?

My head says no, but the hope inside me won’t go

It’s the hope that kills you PUB!
Seriously though, whatever the result, wherever we finish, one thing you can never question is the commitment of this group of players.
They really do work their plums off and as a fan of a lower league club that’s all you can really ask for.
Proud of them.

We’ve got Blackpool tomorrow and the return of Jerry Yates. Pity there’s no fans there to give him a huge cheer. Two wins on the spin and no goals conceded is unchartered territory for us this season, but our performances at home have, generally, been very poor.

Surely Blackpool, and Yates, can’t get another pen! Can’t think of any logical reason not to expect a loss.

Hull at home tomorrow. They’re top of the league but bar a shocker in our last home game we’re usually pretty good at home. Wasn’t all that impressed with Hull the two times we’ve played them away from home. They created very little and I thought we were well worth a point in the league game. Can see this probably being a draw.

Crewe 1-1 Hull (Kirk, Wilks)

Can see Blackpool giving us the runaround tomorrow. Prove me wrong Shez and co!

Posh at home tomorrow and we'll be getting plenty of support from Lasher/Gills and Imps fans eh ! We have done well against top teams recently, not sure about this though with our visitors hitting the high notes against Accy. The break will have helped us, refreshed bodies and legs ready to go, we can get a win but a draw wont be a surprise

I must be drunk
By 9:30am on Good Friday. I take my hat off to you sir.

Confidence is the highest I've known it for a while down here for the weekend's games, although it needs to be tempered a little by our striker crisis. Ronan Curtis is likely to start as an out-and-out striker for the first time for us, although he played there for much of his career before joining us from the Irish league.

Home to Rochdale today, expecting plenty of goals in this one. Then a trip to Wigan on Monday. Me managed to lose at home to Wigan's thrown-together team in the early stages of the season. Still, the Jackett days are behind us now and we're all aboard the Cowley train. The team's transformation has been remarkable, frankly.

Home to Wimbledon. The first game was a crazy 4-4 and we could/should have won it with the last header of the game. Do not expect the same. In the fight for points, the Dons have been very cagey recently not letting too many in. Due to injuries and suspensions we have played a back four in the past two games, do know if we will again today. Ennis is a real handful up front. If he plays Liverpool loanee Lewis at left back/wing back could be eventful. Lewis is capable of running the opposition ragged, and being run ragged, often within seconds of each other. Very fast and a brilliant crosser, lousy defender.

There are so many similar teams at the top and bottom it’s almost impossible to be confident about any outcome. Teams seem to go on a run of dreadful results/performances and still hang about the PO spots. The middle for diddle teams are more akin to us bottom dwellers than, say, the top 8-10. All in all it’s a pretty shit league.

4-3-3 today not sure how we will play today but hopefully not the insipid display we put in at MK

Not a bad first half considering we’re playing with 10 men.

Gilbey is right up there as one of the worst players I’ve ever seen. Can’t believe I fell for all the guff from MK fans.

Not great but comfortable enough in the end. Was never really troubled by Doncaster.

That was absolute DOGSHIT. Feel sorry for Bristol Rovers, they were piss poor also but we've stolen that with not one but two lucky goals.

Roll on the summer clear out!

Sounds like it was Stadium of Fight rather than than Stadium of Light at Sunderland with Karl Robinson claiming one of his staff got head butted.

Paid yet another 10 quid to watch two teams see who could kick the ball further down the field than the other. Thank god for the betting sites revenue.

A really good game I thought between us and Hull, just a real sickener to lose it at the end. No way deserved that. Hull can will be relieved to have got 6 points out of those two games vs us, as there is no way we have deserved one.
