Don't think the suspensions will count in the league, becaue this isn't a 'proper competition' it's just a training scheme for the PL academies in which we are forced to play our senior players.

When did they change that? I know that they changed it for League, FA Cup and EFL Cup red card suspensions

The rule always was that Suspensions for red AND yellow cards in the EFL Trophy only apply in the EFL Trophy as it doesn't count as a senior competition.

Shows how little interest I take in this competition. I knew that we'd qualified for the next round but I thought that losing out to Portsmouth on penalties would leave us second in the group. Apparently we're top and seeded and we avoid MK. Result!
