Fair play all round a very high standard, cos that was hard. Was really happy with our time, thought we might've done enough to win it, so for 2 teams to go more than an hour quicker - impressive stuff.

Those advantages were hard earned, that's for sure. And yeah repeat what's said above, very enjoyable

Well played to all the other teams with that.

Some brilliant times there, I thought we'd done well, despite not being able to have anyone focus on it fully for a long period of time.

I was 6 down in half an hour but then had a massive blank and it was 40 mins later before Don could add a few more.

Game round 2 - Euro 2016 Scenarios

Shamelessly stolen from Munkiki's fantastic Premier League version. It's scenario time.

How to play
There are 20 scenario listed below (A-Z). It is your job to choose the ones that you think will score points.

How many do I choose?
Well this is where the advantages come in you see.

Team Olsen get to choose 8 scenarios.
Team Zagorakis get to choose 7 scenarios.
Team Gullit get to choose 6 scenarios.
The other 3 teams (Klinsmann, Casillas, Deschamps) get to choose 5 scenarios.

Which ones shall I choose?
You can choose any you want. You may decide to go for all 4 and 6 points scenarios. You may decide to spread your choice. You may decide to take a risk and go for big scoring scenarios. It's up to your team how you're going to play this.

Scoring
Once matchday 2 has been completed. All of your chosen scenarios will be added together to give you your score and your position on the leaderboard will be converted into game points.

1st: 5 game points
2nd: 4 game points
3rd: 3 game points
4th: 2 game points
5th) 1 game point
6th) 0 game points

G - Germany beat Poland (6 points)
H - England beat Wales (6 points)
I - 2 or more defenders score (6 points)
J- A team on 0 points after matchday 1 wins in matchday 2 (6 points)
K - A game has more than 3 goals (8 points)
L - Both teams score in more than half of the matches (8 points)
M - Countries bordering the Black Sea (Turkey, Ukraine, Romania and Russia) pick up more points altogether than their opponents. (8 points if correct, 4 points if equal)

Just a very slight amendment to scenario C which I've now edited.

Not wishing to give anything away to other groups (they're not daft after all) but why would anyone choose scenario A for example when you can just predict the score and get far more points?

Why not do both and get 14 points? Or maybe Albania will win? Who knows eh.

Leaderboard 10/12

1) Team Gullit - 19
2) Team Casillas - 17
3) Team Zagorakis - 16
4) Team Klinsmann - 15
5) Team Olsen - 14
6) Team Deschamps - 9

So no changes after the games this evening. Just two games left. The best Deschamps can hope for now with 6 points left available is joint 4th. Everybody else is still pretty tight. Will Zagorakis' one remaining joker be the game changer? A perfect score in the last two could be invaluable.

Final two matches tomorrow before the first points on the game table are recorded.

Now get on with the scenarios you fuckers, you've only got until Wednesday lunchtime.

Olsen – Austria 2-1 Hungary
Deschamps – Austria 2-1 Hungary
Gullit – Austria 2-1 Hungary
Zagorakis – Austria 2-0 Hungary [joker]
Casillas – Austria 1-0 Hungary
Klinsmann – Austria 1-0 Hungary

The final joker is played and if Zagorakis get it spot on, they're in an excellent position going into the final round. Klinsmann and Casillas will be hoping for a 1-0 which would shoot them right into contention, whilst a 2-1 scoreline would probably see Gullit over the line and give Olsen a great chance of a strong finish.

All to play for.

Will there be prediction games for the KO rounds?

Every game round will have a different theme to it to keep it interesting. This week you have scenarios for example.

Looks like it could be all down to the final game this unless Austria turn it around.
Some interesting final game predictions as well.

Leaderboard 11/12

2) Team Casillas - 17
3) Team Zagorakis - 16
4) Team Klinsmann - 15
5) Team Olsen - 14
6) Team Deschamps - 9

Olsen – Portugal 1-0 Iceland
Deschamps – Portugal 2-0 Iceland
Gullit – Portugal 2-1 Iceland
Zagorakis – Portugal 1-1 Iceland
Casillas – Portugal 2-0 Iceland
Klinsmann – Portugal 3-0 Iceland

The tussle for positions is bang up for grabs here. An exact score for someone (Deschamps aside) will see them jump up several plces in the leaderboard.

In terms of winning, Gullit can't actually come lower than first now. They will either be joint first with Casillas if it's 2-0 or joint first with Zagorakis if it's 1-1. So it's a guaranteed 5 points on the overall table for them. It's just whether they'll be joined by anyone or not.

Every point counts.
