Did anyone use edits?

Yes, sorry.

Olsen used their 2nd edit to replace Spain with Italy.

Olsen, Zagorakis and Casillas still have 2 further edits.

So is this after 90 minutes or 120?

If the former we are buggered.

Olsen: Germany 2-1 Italy 2 POINTS

Gullit:

Over 6.5 attempts on target (7pts) - Germany

Fouls (pts per foul) - Italy 7 points

Leaderboard after match 3/4
Zagorakis - 29 points
Olsen - 24 points
Gullit - 22 points
Casillas - 18 points
Klinsmann - 15 points

Deschamps - 14 points

Very close going into France vs Iceland. It could all changed as some teams have some good looking scenarios left whilst others have one or two that don't seem to bring the big points in. Still on here for any team. It's Gullit's night though as they surge up to 3rd place and right into contention.

Will Casillas be able to make up ground tomorrow when they play their joker?
One team that won't be able to earn double points is Zagorakis who completely forgot to include their jokers with their submission! :ohm:

Right, I've just edited the above slightly due to 2 mistakes I was alerted to.

First of all, Gullit got 14 points on the Italy fouls joker (not 12).

Secondly, I gave Zagorakis too many points for their Germany 1-1 Italy prediction. It should have been 2 points for having both correct teams and then 5 points for the correct score.

In my mind, I did have it that I would be scoring it as 3 for a correct result and 5 for a correct score giving 8 in total. But for some reason, I didn't score in this manner in the round of 16 where people got exact scores. I only gave the points for the exact score and not the additional points for a correct result. So to be consistent I have to maintain the scoring system used up until now.

Just for clarity, a correct result will bring 3 points and a correct score brings 5 points. These do not get added together.

That 60% possession is a shitter! Why the 0.5% I'm wondering?

Advantage task 6 - Pointless Fortunes

As I’m a teacher, I have carried out a survey of 50 year 5 and 6 boys who go to school in Dagenham, England. I gave them all 1 minute to name as many answers for each question as they could. These questions were asked in the 2-3 weeks before Euro 2016 started.

For each question, you have to select 3 answers that you think will score highly (Family Fortunes style) and 2 pointless answers that you think will score low (Pointless style)

The 3 high answers will give you an overall score depending on how many people said each answer. The two pointless answers will deduct from your overall score.

So for example, if the question was, a football team in London, you might enter:

Fortunes
Arsenal – (42)
Chelsea – (36)
Spurs – (27)

Pointless
Fulham – (15)
QPR – (1)

I’ve put in brackets the points you might get for them answers. So you’d get a total of 105 for the fortunes. However, you’d lose 16 points after totalling that in Pointless. Your total for that question would therefore be 89 overall.

If you give an incorrect answer, you will immediately encounter a 20 point penalty.

There will be 5 questions you need to answer and they each need to be set out like the example above in your PM.

Advantages won for this task will scale down with 1st getting the best advantage and 6th getting the weakest.

Deadline is 7.30pm this evening. Bold your entries in your PM.

Here are the 5 questions:

1) A player named in the 23 man England squad.

2) A team that is not England who are competing at Euro 2016.

3) A football manager in the Premier League for the 2016/17 (asked before Puel took over at Southampton)

4) A team in the Champions League knockout rounds 2015/16

5) A Premier League striker who scored more than 10 goals in 2015/16

I initially read that as 5 and 6 year olds and was going to be very impressed if any of them would have been able to identify Puel.

Disgusting that you're taking advantage of children like this for a forum game.

I am appalled, sir.

Wanna clarify 'Striker' please Lee to avoid further confusion over the likes of Arnautovic?

The following are not strikers:

Ayew
Arnautovic
Wijnaldum
Mahrez
Sanchez
Mane
Sigurdsson

They may play in forward positions from time to time, but they are not strikers. If you want a definition, I suppose it would be somebody who predominately plays in a central striker position.

If you take it as anybody who is not on that list that meets the criteria will be allowed.

Klinsmann: France 1-0 England
Olsen: France 1-1 Iceland
Zagorakis: France 1-0 Iceland
Casillas: France 2-1 Iceland

Olsen, Zagorakis and Casillas all use an edit to bring Iceland in. They all have 1 edit remaining.

Scores after Germany 1-1 Italy:
Deschamps - 20
Zagorakis - 18
Gullit - 17
Olsen - 12
Casillas - 11
Klinsmann - 7

Predict a line up 1-11 (pt per correct player) – Iceland (JOKER)
Hannes Thor Halldorsson, Birkir Mar Saevarsson, Kari Arnason, Ragnar Sigurdsson, Ari Freyr Skulason, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Aron Gunnarsson, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Birkir Bjarnason, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson 22 POINTS

Leaderboard after Iceland line ups added
Casillas - 40 points
Olsen - 35 points
Gullit - 33 points
Zagorakis - 29 points
Klinsmann - 26 points

Deschamps - 14 points

Them Iceland line ups have really changed the picture. Zagorakis will have to hope for France to score twice or else a promising start is really going to falter after they forgot to play their two jokers. Klinsmann can't finish above Olsen and Gullit but they can jump above Zagorakis and stay above Deschamps potentially. Deschamps look in trouble but have two potentially big scoring scenarios to come and may be able to reign one or two teams in if they have a good night. Casillas will be hoping for 2 France goals to seal their first game victory and put themselves back in with a chance of winning this entire game.
