On another note, I've just made a transfer. As he's barely been active at all, I have withdrawn Mistermagic from the game. He is replaced by This Charming Mike. Team Olsen have a new addition!

If there are any thread readers who are not currently playing who would like to, then give me a message as I'm looking to possibly make 1 more transfer for a fairly inactive member.

What?! Following on from Magic's cries of corruption during the unveiling of the pots, I am going to call corruption again.

Mike is one of the strongest forum game players on here and I don't see why Olsen should get him - Cheese & Biscuits picked Mistermagic fair and square so they shouldn't be rewarded for a bad pick.

If Mike wants to play then a fairer way would be have an auction for Mike where teams can bid their overall leaderboard game points to have him join their team (teams can even bid to go into minus figures if they want Mike bad enough).

Overall table - week 3/6

1) Team Zagorakis - 13
2) Team Gullit - 11
2) Team Olsen - 11
4) Team Casillas - 6
5) Team Klinsmann - 3

5) Team Deschamps - 3

At the half way point of the game, Zagorakis hold a narrow lead from the firing Olsen and the consistent Gullit. Casillas aren't out of this either if they can put a couple of good rounds together in the 2nd half of the game. It looks pretty bleak for Klinsmann and Deschamps but pride is on the line, especially given Klinsmann's "Deschumps" teasing early on. Motivation should be very high in the Deschamps camp.

Game week 4 posted at 2pm tomorrow.

Deschumps would be in minus points then in a bidding war with the Germans...

Yeah I thought that. Mistermagic was in pot 4, no way Mike would've been a pot 4 guy. Outrageous scenes.

Two teams have effectively been playing the game with 5 members. One of them have been doing well lately and the other haven't. Every other team has had 6 members contributing throughout. Just because Olsen are doing well, why shouldn't they get a new member if they're essentially a man down? More testament to the 5 of them really. I said at the beginning that I'd be removing inactive players. I'm standing by that.

Obviously your call mate. Every team has its "weaker" members though (no offence to anyone as I know life happens and people get busy sometimes). My team usually has 2-3 people on for the live tasks at most so don't fully get why Olsen's need is greater than everyone else's. Like I say, I think an auction or assigning Mike to a team at random would be fairer.

I get where you're coming from but I said at the beginning I'd rather an active game. I've not taken position into account because I'm just replacing two people who couldn't contribute. Be a bit unfair if I purposely boosted two teams struggling after the other teams have worked hard to get into a good position. Like I said before, the priority is an active game. The last two advantage tasks are not speed round and neither are any of the remaining game rounds so being 'live' won't be as big an issue.

And also (bar Deschamps who were probably the least active, although Natch will help them there a little), the rest of you are strong enough to win. Klinsmann have been unfortunate with Spired and JJH not being around for a few tasks. Casillas have some very good members in Paul, HOD, CUFC with Mente chipping in as well. Zagorakis have Magic and Krazy8 being active with Don and Mossy chipping in in places. Yourselves have you, Ian, Ciderhead and Hodge who have all been excellent.

So yeah, stop moaning. :obama:

Oh yeah, I definitely wasn't suggesting this and I'd be saying the same thing if Mike had been added to any team in this manner (except maybe us

). Anyway, it's been ran flawlessly so far so you probably just did this to add a bit of controversy. ;)

You're going to hate me now anyway as I've put Bottega Don on Zagorakis. EricSabin has stepped aside for personal reasons.

Gullit has probably been one of the more active teams anyway.

We're going to have a problem when people start complaining about the amount of City fans in this thread :animatedf:
