Stagat - Afaic, nearly all of us are still in the running, with 3 points at stake for a correct score. On a good day one can get two correct scores and that's 6 pts in the bag, so I can't understand why some predictors give up way too early. Same thing happens in the League Prediction one too, as some guys give up as early as October/November Then there's also the fact that you don't know how others have predicted, so sometimes, you find yourself climbing up quite a few places after only getting an average score.

Liam - I had 1-0 Poland. I have the Wales Norn Iron match as a 1-1 draw, and Croatia to beat Portugal 2-1, though I'm undecided on the latter so may end up changing my prediction.

That's not what I meant Stagat, and yep, you did a good thing with the tagging and reminding people to predict I was simply trying to encourage others not to give up just because they're something like 10 points behind, because a correct score is worth 3 pts.

People wanting to catch up are gonna have to be braver with their predictions aren't they mate. No point just matching those above.

edit: or maybe not actually. Guess a 1-0 ain't much braver than a 1-1 or summat. All to play for as you say.

I think it's worse than that mate. I think you'll have got two.

• 1 Points for a properly guessed match winner
• 1 Points for a correctly guessed match winner and goal difference (Winning team/Losing team)

I changed my 1-1 prediction before last night's game. The system has recognised it as the right result this time though!

I changed Germany / Italy from 1-1 to 2-1 too when I changed the Poland / Portugal one. Nine points lost (some indirectly I know) coz of that initial mistake I pointed out.
