Yes to all of the above my Piskie friend, did you know that there's a fish stall (a covered type hut/barrow) at Walthamstow market on Thursdays & Saturdays by the name of Tubby Isaacs where they still sell whelks, winkles and jellied eels - I was there last year and bought some winkles (proper ones mind you and none of that European rubbish)
I'm good to go with the tin bath also, just have to take a load of flowers out that the wife planted in it down the back of the garden, I've also kept some old coinage like threepenny bits and a few shillings and pound notes so I'll be fine there too, what I really miss the most are proper telephone boxes where you could press button B to get your coins back - Ah, the good old days, I can't wait.......
EDIT: oops, almost forgot to wave my flag.
Top response, mate. Love it.
My gran told me about old telephone boxes and loads of other things. She was a proper old Bow Beller but was evacuated out of the East End during the Blitz. Loved her whelks, she did. When I was little, if she was visiting on a Sunday she'd send my dad to Charlton Village when the Swan (pub) was open at lunchtime because that was the nearest place to our house where a winkle barrer pitched. Dad had to get her a winkles, scooped up in an old pewter pint pot and put in a brown paper bag. She taught me how to winkle 'em. My sisters thought it was disgusting. LMAO.
I think you'd love the seafood here. You want it fresh..? We have the best and we even sell Falmouth Oysters to the French..!!

Seeing as flag waving is the order of the day.............
