Just have to beat a League One club to get to the semis.

If only it was that simple...

Can't complain with that draw, only better if we had got them at home.

Not a bad draw, A local derby, Maybe a big 4 tie if United get through tonight, if Not Preston v Arsenal could be tasty and the underdogs left in the Competition have a good chance against Blackburn at home.

Cracking draw. One of the few grounds in the top 4 leagues I've never been to.Would have taken that over Arsenal or Liverpool obviously. Will still be a tough game though.

1-2 Man U now.

Wonder if a team has ever got to Wembley without having a home tie - Reading are going for it!

Nah.

Should be a good game whatever the outcome. We've been close to reaching the semis in recent times (2010, 2011) hopefully it's third time lucky.

Bradford City, 1.4m spongers.
Fuck SAKE.

If United beat us, I'm supporting them all the way. Can't have all those fucking Liverpool thinkpieces if Gerrard wins it on his birthday.

Don't want to support us like the rest of the nation?

Honestly? I'd say we are the last team anyone wants to draw in this cup.

Going to be an early start on that morning then!

6 hour drive up from Portsmouth, no chance of making it by train unfortunately.

4 of us going up to Bradford on the Friday night and staying in a hotel rather than getting up early on the Saturday morning.

It's ludicrous that Man U v Arsenal is on a Monday night. There's loads of free space on the Sunday, seems a joke they couldn't put it on then.

Agree. Its a joke.As Laker says surely the game could have been played on Sunday lunchtime. Now the Arsenal fans have to take time off work to get up there on a Monday night and probably the following day.

Surprised Aston Villa v West Brom is at half 5 on the Saturday.Would have thought West Midlands police would rather the game kicked off at 12:45.

Apparently there is only one train that leaves Reading in time to get to Bradford on the Saturday morning, 6am, and costs £110 return. Ouch.

Judging by the fans reaction i'm not quite as confident that we'll sell out the 4200 allocation as I was initially. Depends if the club put on decent coach travel like they did in 2011.

Iv heard from a few Reading fans we are only asking for 2700 tickets. No idea if that is true though.I was going to get that train but then saw the price.Cheaper to drive up there on Friday night and stay in a hotel which only cost me 29 quid and sharing the petrol cost between 4 of us.

2700 would be poor but if alternative transport isn't put on (extra coaches) it might be understandable given its either 2700 or 4200 allocation, nowhere in between and limited options if you can't get a lift.

I would expect us to sell 4200 tickets, the Man City QF in 2011 the club only took a 1800 allocation and the fans deservedly blamed them (could have requested up to 5000), tickets sold our in 4 hours and only online before anyone who could only queue up got a chance. I would hope they wouldn't make the same mistake twice...

The cup is a nice distraction from the league so I can't see our bad form in the league effecting the attendance too much, and i said before I would expect us to sell our full allocation whether that be only 2700 or the full 4200.

I would like to think we would sell it out.Thankfully i have just short of 4000 loyalty points and a season ticket holder so won't have any trouble getting a ticket.

One of the guys im going with is no longer a season ticket holder and has 1000 points so he might have more trouble getting a ticket.

Hopefully there won't be a repeat of the Man City ticket farce.2 of my mates ended up buying tickets in the city end.

I was in the home end for City as well, must have had a few hundred in there.

I think those of us who went to the semi-final in 1927 should get first dibs on tickets.

2709 tickets with the option (first refusal at least) on an extra 1600.

Interesting to see how tickets sell, available to STs Friday, General Monday. Weird way of doing it, would think we'd sell out the initial allocation early.

At least they have the option to have more.

Yeah i would have though they would have done it on points. At least if we do sell the 2709 out quickly there is more tickets available. Will get mine and my brothers tomorrow morning. My 2 mates will have to wait until Monday.Gives them a decent chance of getting a ticket though.
