Would've been delighted with Notts County away as it's just up the road from me, could've been worse getting them at home but not massively inspiring (I'm sure they're thinking the same).

Port Vale away isn't too bad a draw. Somewhere I've never been, a big allocation and a game we SHOULD win.

Great draw for us.. £££ huge away following (you'll get around 4000 tickets) should get a few more than normal home fans. Hoping it gets on TV purely for financial reasons. Like getting a big Premiership club in Round 3 but more winnable (all be it still very difficult)

Bromley away.

I don't think we've ever played Bromley, at least not in a competitive match.

It's relatively easy to get to, as its only 15 minutes from Victoria so I would expect we would sell out our allocation. However, they are redeveloping their ground so we may not get many tickets.

Also a slight chance it may get picked for telly, but will more than likely be one of the featured Sunday afternoon games.

The away part of their ground is unaffected by the redevelopment so I think you would have received the same allocation anyway.

Very very pleased with Alfreton away. Never got there in our non-league days so looking forward to it, I really do miss going to the non-league grounds, far more interest and atmosphere in my view. Also think that while results are important its not the be all and end all that it is further up the food (money) chain. Local people supporting their local team and all that, even if they may be shite (this is NOT a reference to Alfreton by the way).

Be somewhere around 1700 I think mate.

12.45 KO on a Sunday with no direct trains, be surprised if anyone bothers now. There was talk of hiring a coach but doubt I’ll be arsed. What a load of shit, was looking forward to that as an away day.

Looks like Maidenhead are running into a rich vein of form before we visit them next weekend.

Last batch of league results (excluding scraping past the mighty Chippenham in the cup at the second attempt):
Salford (home) lost 0-3
Leyton Orient (home) lost 0-2
Boreham Wood (away) lost 1-3
Fylde (home) lost 0-6
Havant & Waterlooville (away) lost 0-7

Our near neighbours H&W had been on a dreadful run of results themselves before the 7 nil gubbing.

This is looking like the mother of all hustles!

Wycombe at home for us in one of the least appealing games of the entire round. A chance to get through to the next round for both sides, Wycombe having a pretty decent record at the Kenny of late but given its not a really a tie either side will be overly "up" for could go out with a wimper.

We will be without Hylton, so be interesting to see if Lee goes back up front and Grant returns or its more of a straight swap with Cornick with the rest of the line up unchanged.

We've a disgraceful record against Notts County in my lifetime so be nice to dish out a gubbing today. Not that that ever happens with us against lower league sides...

Coventry 2-0 down.

Looks to be about 1900 Walsall fans and 2800 Coventry fans here today.

Another day, another day of Wycombe timewasting and niggly fouls.

Oh and they’re now 1-0 down.

Where they have got the figure for the Walsall fans, I don't know. Significantly more Coventry than Walsall here.

Eased into the second round really there. Wycombe started the game like a non league side looking for a replay, looked to kill the game and make things awkward. Bit of quality from Shinnie put us ahead, and if we go a goal up at home at the moment you just feel that on the counter we will kill it off eventually. Wycombe had a little spell in the second half but then a horrendous error from the Wycombe centre half played in Cornick who finally seems to have learned that going to the far corner is a better bet and that killed it off once and for all.

A lot easier than I was expecting as Wycombe offered little and what they did was headed firmly away by Pearson and Bradley. Have to hold my hands up on those 2, started the season looking shaky and I was critical of them but since then have made a superb partnership of late and looked so comfortable.

And they didn’t let you win?

Disgraceful from Walsall.

We won thankfully but we got even more casualties. We now only have 3 fit defenders in our squad, things aren't looking too promising.

Took a while (94th min) before we broke down a determined Stevenage whose game plan appeared to be to play for a draw from the outset.

Not sure we played that well, but dominated most of the game. Good to see us not concede. But it is money in the bank and a bit of confidence for the players. Hope the borough player who had to go off on a stretcher is okay. Let’s hope it is not Carlisle away drawn on Tuesday.

We were absolutely dire last night as most of you probably saw. My OH said to me "I'm sorry, I didn't realise how much fucking misery you'd had to put up with in the last few months". He's no great football fan but he could see how poor we were. Haringey were extremely unlucky.

Oh well, the lowest placed team away please? At least the TV companies will be all over it with a sniff of a giant killing and another TV payment would soften the blow of embarrassment.

Beat Colchester 1-0 but we were far from convincing. Got the impression neither team could be arsed with this game.

with 7 players missing i didn't expect anything else tbh.
Luton haven’t had a fully available squad all season. We had at least 3 key players missing yesterday - Hylton, Berry and Potts.

Out of all the players missing it's Nathan Tyson we miss the most, who can forget his performance at yours last season? Thankfully he's started light training again so should be back soon.
